Amazing! We had our wedding reception here in November. The food was absolutely superb everyone enjoyed. They catered for everyone's needs. The staff were so attentive and friendly we had the best day ever. Rooms were beautiful. We want to give a massive thank you to all the staff and to Jackie especially for sorting everything out for us. Can't thank you enough. Will definitely be staying here again. Come down every year have the Sunday carvery but this year verry bland and a change in price won't be returning disappointed to say the least.

Always lovely rooms with a brilliant view over the Estuary. The pool and spa is lovely. There is a public path to the beach for a lovely walk when the tide is out. The 2nd floor rooms have the best views but we also have been in the 1st floor rooms either a balcony that had an nice view too. Always friendly staff. Nice place to stay... Sleep well in the beds too.

Avoid and do research before going. We arrived at the hotel greeted by the receptionist who was asked by myself and partner if it was busy, she stated that the facilities were empty and very quiet. We then went on to say we wanted to use the pool jacuzzi steam room etc, she charged us 15.80 and we went to get changed to use the facilities. We had a cold shower before using the steam room and sauna as the water wasn't very warm we then noticed that the jacuzzi was out of order with maintenance work being done as there was a very large crack in the wall. Also the pool was freezing cold with dirt and grime floating on the water top and there was hoses pipes all along the sides as a trip hazard. We then decided to vacate the premises as the hygiene was at a terrible level and it was filthy. In the ladies showers the tiles were cracked and bottles of bleach and bucket were left out. The showers were faulty and there was mould over the walls and what looked like blood on the mirror which had been there for sometime. The manager refused to give us a refund without speaking to the owners knowing full well about the problems. Waited for owners and was told do not speak to the male owner as he hadn't got time for complaints, But eventually had a refund from his wife who then told us not to bother coming back as they don't need our custom. Although my partner had previously used the gum facilities for 3 years previous. So disappointed as it was my boyfriends 30th and a rare day out with out our children. Couldn't imagine what staying here would be like. Please check before paying.

In need of investment, dirty changing rooms, dirty pool, tiles chipped or missing.

This is the worst place i have ever been. There was never any staff on sight, the main meal tasted like cat food and after 2hours of waiting for a desert menu i walked out after then being offered my desert at 10pm the staff were rude and disrespectful the walls were thin and i could here everything in the surrounding rooms so o had no sleep. And the only compensation i was offered was a half price meal. Considering i only had a starter because the main make me sick and i wasnt offered my desert, coffee, chocolates of Champaign i shouldn't of been charged at all. The only decent member of staff was a 14 year old boy who was serving at the bar which is illegal. DO NOT STAY AT THIS PLACE!!
