Tiger Tiger Cardiff

Drinks weren't cheap but there was a 2for1 offer so I didn't mind.
Looked clean and fairly well kept. Staff were helpful.

Tiger Tiger nights range from why did I waste so much money on entry to why did I waste so much on entry. Either the place is dead and there so few people at the bars or drinking or the place is so packed there is no room to move or let alone change rooms.

Staff can be rude and unreasonably forceful to the point where I was squashed into a wall. When the upstairs is too packed the club staff were restricting movement up and down by having us queue, we all stood there waiting our turn and whilst one staff member had no issue with how far away from the stairs we all where stood, a lady working there did. Instead of try directing us with hand gestures and her words she took it upon herself to grapple the person in front and throw him back at us.

The club has a smoking area which connects the upstairs and downstairs fairly seamlessly, using this to control the flow of movement would have made so much more sense then trying to squeeze everyone down the same set of stairs, however they had closed it off from anyone downstairs to use. This meant if you wanted to go outside you had to wait in a queue to go upstairs then navigate through two (very packed rooms) before you could then descend downstairs again (on the other side of the club) to get some air.

The silent disco works well. Karaoke is fun. Drinks are a bit pricey (but what can you expect, it is a club) and the type of people you will find there vary immensely depending on which day you go.

All in all, go there but don't pay crazy prices for entry, do the karaoke and hope you don't get abuse.

Not a place to go if you are non white. A Group of Black Guys booked a table as part of a Stag do and we were refused entry. The female staff member was accommodating and would of let us in, but the bouncers were intimidated by our presence. Another guy with long dark hair came over and advised he would call the Police if we did not leave and did not explain why. This club does not embrace its diverse clientele. Avoid.

Not my usual choice of venue for a night out, but had a great night here on Friday just gone. Had a karaoke booth. Out with friends from work, had a really good time. My only gripe was being served pints in plastic glasses. I’m aware this is a requirement on event days in Cardiff, but I don’t recall there being one on this particular day.

Recently came to Tiger Tiger for my cousins hen do, booking a package of 3 course meal, cocktail class and kareoke. In the lead up to the event the staff I loaded with were lovely and so helpful. The food was delicious, it was a set menu with lots of choice. The cocktail class was great fun and the guys who ran it were fantastic. Everything was very well organized and ran smoothly. Only complaints would be slow service at the bar and very busy in the upstairs area with not really enough room to dance.

I've been here a hand full of times and each time I've received extremely bad customer service from the staff. I had food here and was kept waiting an hour for an over cooked steak, the staff were very rude and not helpful at all. To top it off the bouncers are very aggressive and confrontational, I've got no idea how they get away with pushing people around for no reason! If you want a good night - don't come here!

Karaoke booths are great fun here, make sure you book in advance

Great for youngsters. I went as part of a hen do. Not really for my age group.

Decent but unremarkable nightclub, but the prices aren't too bad. Solid choice for a night out
