My third alpine trek with Alpenwild this summer - another group of fantastic people that have become great friends, loads of sunshine ... and lots & lots of cheese, of course!
Wow! Summer’s not even over & I’m really proud to have my first bookings for snowshoeing ... I’m only running 3 courses this winter (all in March 2020), so if you’re keen, get in touch!
Working with Freedom Outdoors this weekend on a Mountain Leader training course - fab people & a great course!
A fab week of bike adventures with CCAT
Although this winter is drawing to a close, I’m already looking forward to next year ... get in touch if you’d like to experience one of my snowshoe adventures!
An amazing week with some wonderful people, all summed up in my second Blog ever ...

Just had a brilliant few days exploring wonderful Snowdonia with Duncan & Mike ... even managed a wild camp!
Another fund raising trip with Discover Adventure is coming to an end.
This time it was a lovely group of people raising money for the 'Alzheimer's Society'.
Everyone involved had been affected, with family or friends suffering some kind of dementia.
... It's wonderful that people can come together, face challenges & do something amazing to help others - another week of inspiration!

I've just spent the most amazing week with some truly inspirational people, walking on the Great Wall of China while working with Discover Adventure.
Our journey together has been incredible - we've cried, laughed & encouraged each other through some very real challenges.
The group were raising money for the MS Society, and all the participants had a story to tell about how Muscular Sclerosis has affected them. Some had partners or parents with it, some actually had it themse...lves.
My only previous knowledge of MS had been of people in wheelchairs, needing support in most areas of normal life. The people I met were truly, truly incredible - the ones with & without this disease, and I have learned so much from them all.
I started the week looking forward to a great week of work in an interesting place, hoping that the group would be nice ... I've had an emotional rollercoaster, and have come away with some of the most special, wonderful memories & friendships that I hope will last many years!
Thank you so much

Another fab week of mountaineering (despite the weather) - working for JSMTC (Joint Service Mountain Training Centre) on a SMF (summer mountain foundation) course - proper brilliant group of people!
Just spent the week working for Freedom Outdoors with aspiring Mountain Leaders.
A real privilege to be part of the journey, we had a right laugh too!
Another great week with CCAT - Cadet Centre for Adventurous Training in Bavaria, working with some fab cadets & brilliant instructors!
Just spent a fantastic week in the Allgau region of Bavaria, working with CCAT - Cadet Centre for Adventurous Training ... introducing cadets to the joys of lift served mountaineering! Brilliant!
Abseils, boats & lots of mountains ... Skye really packs in a lot of adventure!
Really pleased to have helped Nick pass his 100th Munro this week!
I'm keen to run another trip to this beautiful island next year - let me know if you're keen!
I've just spent the weekend with the loveliest people - although ascending the 3 highest points in Scotland, England & Wales was the aim, all the other things that happened made for a weekend of laughs ... the food, the gin, the weather, even the travelling was great fun!
I'd be keen to run another of these next year. If you're interested let me know!
Another fab few days teaching climbing skills in Snowdonia - thanks loads, Simon & Ness!
I have a space on a really special trip. It's a 3 peaks thing - over 3 days, we'll ascend Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike & Snowdon over some exciting routes (knife edge ridges, etc!). We'll be travelling up on Friday 16th June, climbing for the next 3 days (finishing on 19th June). Someone has had to drop out, so if you're fit & adventurous, give me a shout.
