wow just got home from having a meal in the Torrent it was awesome, portions were massive and food was delicious. Gareth and his team are doing an awesome job . well done and good luck Gareth

What a stunning meal in the torrent this afternoon. Fantastic food, brilliantly presented and fantastic value. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

We where in Dolgellau for 2 nights we had a meal at the ship hotel but it was crap and expensive we where advised to try the torrent we went and had a lovely meal there we will be going back there next year

Thanks to the whole team at the torrent for looking after us so well. Our works outing was a great success, even fussy Julie enjoyed her meal. Great beers and amazing food relished by all.

Picked here randomly for a Sunday night family dinner while traveling... food & beer was so good that we came back the following night. 8 meals sampled & all fantastic.

Only been able to eat here a few times but on a bank holiday weekend you couldnt ask for anything better! A huge piece of Gammon two runny eggs and very generous helping of home-made chips and a fresh salad! It was demolished and so was my partners steak sandwich with chips! Fab service and great atmosphere, food was served promptly even though it was very busy. Would eat here everyday if i could! Thank you chef was delicious x

Loved the food, burger was great , and would recommend to anyone, the drinks are good as well with a wide range on offer �

Love it here always a friendly welcome and a nice pint of Rosies cider, must try the food now they have started serving meals �

It's the best from here to the moon! And of course you need to come back time and time again. The food is fantastic and all the people who welcome you with open arms and their wallets. Garath the owner is a brilliant Master Chef and all his staff are with him all the way to the bank and so happy too they've always got the time of day to chat, good luck to them, number one in the charts Gromit!

Great beer , great people , awesome atmosphere.. Very welcoming, best pub in dol!.. Home from home �

Gareth has done a great job updating the pub. Beer was in perfect condition. Nice to be back after ten years away.

Gareth and his team continue to do a wonderful job looking after guests in their beautifully clean and friendly establishment. Beds were lovely and comfy and the breakfast was exceptional. We will be back.

Fantastic food and lovely place to eat. Glad the gatehouse steakhouse had messed up our booking
