Tracey'S Childminding Service

My name is Tracey Davies; I run my child-minding service from my home in Brecon town.

I have the following qualifications; NNEB ( Nursery Nurse), Level 3 Health & Social care for Children and Young People, PGCE cert Ed, K101- Introduction to Health & Social Care.

I am a member of the Professional Association for Childcare and Early Years (Pacey).

As a registered childminder I aim to provide a child-minding service that allows boys and girls to learn and develop in a safe, secure, home-based environment. On a daily basis I am registered to care for a total of 5 children under the age of 8 years though no more than two of these children can be 5 years and under and no more than two may be under 18 months of age, although exceptions can be made for siblings.

Children aged three to five years who attend full-time education provision may be classed as over five years for the purposes of the ratios relevant to child minders. In line with Standard 15. 7, at no point must a child minder care for more than six children aged under eight years at any one time.

I also offer out of school care for children over the age of 8 years, this will depend on the availability I have.
