Travelodge Bangor Hotel

Really nice rooms, visited with 2 mates on a photography trip. Staff are very friendly - rooms are modern and have good facilities.

We presumed bed sheets wouldn’t have been made as it’s a Travelodge so we left a lot of camera gear and several MacBooks in the room which totally untouched (very happy about this) which proves what the hotel is really like.

A lot better than I thought being a motorway side hotel, great location for visiting various photography locations nearby.

The only downside was the amount of plugs in the rooms charging camera gear and laptops ect but luckily we had extension leads.

Will be visiting here again!

My husband and myself arrived at midnight to Bangor, Gwynedd, Travelodge a week ago. We were welcomed with a big smile by a young man named Tom. He was extremely helpful and courteous. He helped with our luggage too. The room was spotlessly clean and just as we wished after a long journey. The cleaning staff we also found pleasant and cheerful the next morning. On leaving two days later we were also pleased to talk with Peter at reception, who again gave us a very favourable impression of your staff. There was only one downside...that you have no lift. This was our second visit and we would certainly come again.

Stayed here as a family for 3 nights. Staff were really friendly and informative. Given a 4 purely because the decor is a little dated and there were obvious signs of wear and age (rust in bathroom and on radiators and various chips and scuffs around the room). Aside from this the rooms are adequate for a short stay and kept clean and tidy.

The staff quickly resolved the room booking issues that we had and then refunded our cost! Great customer service. The upstairs access requires a long walk through many fire doors to then double back. Stairs from reception would be a big help :)

Many reasons why we're unlikely to visit here again. The car park is rubbish strewn with a surface like a ploughed field. The entrance is shared with a Little Chef and a Burger King. The Little Chef closes at 15:00. The room smelt so strongly of disinfectant that it made us feel sick. The ground floor room had no net curtains so having the main curtains open was difficult. There was only one electric socket. The basin didn't hold water as the plug didn't fit. The shower temperature control was broken. The doors in the corridor were frequently slammed which was surprising as they were fitted with devices to prevent this but some of the other guests managed to create loads of noise anyway. The only plus point was that the staff were friendly and helpful.

This is the second time I've been here. It's a nice hotel. Nice big room with bathtub and shower. It's a bit out of the way but all good to drive to. The great advantage is there there is a burger king on the ground floor of the hotel as well as little chef so yoy an get breakfast... There is also a little coffee kiosk to get drinks, baps and sandwiches...

Room was clean and comfortable as expected. Attached facilities were sub par with a little chef for food which closed at 15:00 so no chance of an evening meal, the only option was the attached Burger King. Good location between train station and Zip world where we were visiting. Service was reasonable some staff seeming very casual.

Stayed here for four nights. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The staff were polite. It was reasonably priced and did the job for our holiday.
