Calling all dog lovers.. we need your help. We are often asked which attractions allow dogs/where the best places are to let them off the lead where they won't disturb the sheep (apart from our dog walking area). We direct them to the dog friendly beaches and know Harlech Castle, Greenwood Forest Park, Sygun Copper Mines, most of the steam railways, Great Orme Tramway and Bodnant & Penryhn Caslte Gardens allow dogs. But what attraction have you visited recently in Snowdonia, that was dog friendly :-)

User

Pssst... Our 2019 prices are live on our website & for the time being they are at 2018 levels 🤫 So if you have a favourite cabin you want to book, specific requirements or dates you absolutely have to have then now is the time to book ;-) Book online or call 01766 540219 if you need help or advice. http://logcabinswales.webapplicationsuk.c om/trawsfynydd/

User

used to visit every year with parents as a child and loved it , visited in October 2015 for the first time in 16 years with my wife and I loved it just as much as when I was little fantastic place with amazing views

User

Went with Hubbie, daughter, son in law and three grandchildren. Great fun, very comfortable and clean. Conveniently situated too.

User

We stayed in cabin No:-10 over the Christmas period, we could not find any fault with it, as it was spotlessly clean, cosy and comfortable, and a really nice touch was that is was already decorated for Christmas, even a Christmas tree. Having stayed on this site on numerous occasions before, we have always found it to be very well organised and well run. It is the perfect location for traveling to mountains, beaches or small pretty towns. We would also like to recommend the Rhiw Goch Inn for the friendly welcome and good quality meals. We will be returning

User

We have never stayed here before, didn't know what to expect activity wise.

Safe to say we will be visiting again, we stayed in cabin 193 it's spotless & fully equipped, no faults at all.

We have children aged 3&4 whom have enjoyed every minute of the site.

Local pub on site fir anyone wanting to visit the land lady is awesome, she's very accommodating & knowledgeable of the history & area.

The surrounding scenery is outstanding we have seen rainy days, sunny days & windy.

Always something to do & plenty of activities around to go visit.

We look forward to visiting again soon.

User

We had a fab weekend staying in the log cabin (57) on this site. The cabin was fully equipped with all the amenities you could want in such a compact space, nevertheless it was still spacious. The views across the Rhinog moutains were stunning and luckily for us it snowed which added to scenic views. I would recommend this village to anyone wanting a peaceful break :)

User

Spent all last week in number 292 and was very impressed. Was wary we'd only booked a bronze chalet and wondered about the quality but our concerns were unnecessary as it was perfect. Chalet was clean, well kept, well equipped and the kids were happy with the addition of jigsaws and toys. The playpark for the kids is great. Very nice reception, shop and laundrette. It certainly ticked all our boxes what with the facilities and having a pub within walking distance that serves great food. Centrally placed for trips out. We will definitely return now we know this little gem exists.

User
