Had a fantastic time, really lovely hotel and food, great to have the choice of two restaurants to suit all budgets.
We had an amazing room with a huge four poster bed and views of the gardens.
The spa was one of the best we've been to, had a lovely spa treatment, which was great value due to a 20% offer on the day of our stay.
The staff were lovely and helpfull throughout the hotel. The hotel grounds are beautiful and well worth a look around, we were even lucky enough to spot a red squirrel!

Went for sunday lunch last Sunday . As a family we’v always enjoyed weddings , italian and sunday dinner there . But last Sunday we were not so pleased. The roast was horrendous 🤢. The meat eaters in the family were complaining that they’re meat was cold , whilst the vegetarian in the family ‘ s stir fry was like rabbit food . We didn’t like that all yhe vegetables were in one small dish . They were definitely frozen . They were hard to eat. Starters were alright and dessert but the actual Sunday roast wasn’t. Our family will never come back there again .

While the staff were absolutely lovely, there were a few issues, the room was huge, four poster bed, but so cold! The bathroom full of bugs, it was quite dirty. The food we had there was beautiful, but the breakfast was awful, the bill we received in the morning was quite a shock, I'm not sure how they can justify charging so much. And don't order room service! Unless you want a stale sandwich!

Beautiful setting , but had to wait hours for an expensive cuppa and after taking 2 sips I was asked to leave as table was needed to prepare for a wedding . No facilities to obtain cash and restrictions for use of Credit card . Had to buy large bottle of water (don't sell small) with instructions to be returned before 5.30 pm. Staff were pleasant and helpful .

My husband bought me a full-day treatment for my birthday this past Friday, Aug 11. Sadly I was involved in a car accident this past week and could not attend. He called the spa when he could, which fell inside the 24hr notice policy and received a thank-you for passing the information along and that's it. No offer to re-book, nothing at all.

I understand how cancellation policies work and how you would want to hold people responsible for making an appointment so no time gets wasted. However, I'd like to think that in scenarios that are beyond your control that there's the potential to change a booking, even for a notional fee, depending on a case-by-case circumstance.

The day spa treatment sounded very nice and I was really looking forward to it but not for another full cost to attend.

Wonderful old building, great room service food, very nice service with the exception of the reception ladies (borderline polite). Huge rooms with four poster bed, , modern bathroom, nice amenities. Probably not suitable for wheelchair chairs, no elevator and too much gravel in the front yard

Staff were lovely. Couple of minor details let it down. The spa is good. Would recommend and will most likely go back.

Sits in its own extensive grounds, on its own, a stunning venue. Well turned out rooms, all staff very friendly and helpful. Good food in Noelles restaurant. Would recommend.
