Our new for the 2012 season centrally heated double glazed spacious caravan in a prime location on the site is perfect for a holiday in any season.
Our location is only 6 caravans away from Trecco Bay’s blue flag beach and just a short flat walk too from the site’s extensive entertainment and shopping complex. There is a master bedroom with king sized bed & ensuite toilet, a twin room, a pull out double bed in the lounge area and a bathroom with walk in shower and toilet. Outside there is decking, garden furniture and a BBQ.
Besides Trecco Bay there are two further sandy beaches in easy walking distance. The one is at Newton and has an expanse of unspoilt sandy beach, perfect for beach sports or an impromptu BBQ and the other, Coney beach, is the commercial resort beach for Porthcawl with donkeys, fairground, cafes etc.
Even if it rains or becomes cooler during your stay do not fear as there is even more to do undercover. The entertainment complex underwent a £7million transformation in 2008 and boasts a most impressive pool complex suitable for serious swimmers as well as having a water slide, chutes, toddlers pool & pirate ship for the younger guests. There is also an indoor play area including Jungle Jims Adventure Play, amusement arcades (for younger and separately older guests), dodgems & Junior 10 pin bowling.
Sporting areas are not limited to the inside though as there is a wet play area, adventure play area, two multi sports courts & Crazy golf with the nearest 18 hole golf course only a short drive away.
The site has a large quantity of restaurants & takeaways so whether you are looking to have a pizza delivered to the caravan, fish & chips, a Sunday carvery or a sit down meal the site can provide it. You can even get a Costa’s coffee and free access to Wi-Fi in certain areas.
You can buy pretty much anything on site in the range of shops but, if you want to venture further afield in search of a bargain, there are a full range of supermarkets in nearby Bridgend and a “Bargain Booze” just outside the site’s gates.
If it is evening entertainment you are seeking then you will also not be spoilt for choice with an 800 seater Showdome, a sportsman’s bar, with plasma TVs covering sporting events, an adults only bar, bingo etc.
Inside the caravan you will find a flat screen TV with radio & DVD player, DVDs, CD /iPod player and CDs, jigsaws, games, books, toaster, microwave, fridge and freezer & full sized cooker as well as the usual crockery, cutlery, glassware etc.
Your gas and electricity will be provided.
Although we do ask you to bring your own bedding & towels, if you are flying into the area or are restricted for space, just say and I am sure we will be able to help for a nominal charge.
Excluding peak periods e. g. bank & school holidays and during months of June - September, we will be happy to offer short breaks (minimum 3 nights). Prices will be supplied on application.
If you wish to venture off site you will find much to see in the surrounding area. With good motorway access Swansea (20 miles) and Cardiff (30 miles) are easily accessible with shopping, museums, historical buildings as is the beautiful Gower Peninsula (30 miles), and then closer are the Macarthur Glen Designer Outlet, Barry Island (with its links to Gavin & Stacey! ), Ogmore by Sea, Aberavon, Margam Park and the scenic valleys of the County of Glamorgan which are great for walking, photography, bird watching etc. In the caravan you will find a range of tourist information brochures to give ideas.
"As our caravan, and everything in it, is brand new for the 2012 letting season, we are, unfortunately, going to have to request payment of a £100. 00 damages bond. Rest assured, however, that this will be returned to you, if not on the day of your departure, within the week following, providing all is well at the time of you checking out. We do hope that this will not deter you from booking with us. "
We will accept one small well behaved adult dog – fee applies
The only problem we expect you to have during your stay will be a lack of time to fit in everything!

Hopefully, at the third time of trying, I will actually manage to post a message to let you know we are still out here!! Why the lack of contact???!!!
1. The weather - well would you prefer to sit at the lap top rather than enjoy the sunshine! 2. We have been busy - so true with back to back excellent guests since March 3, It has taken me this long to learn to watermark photos!!!...be nice please!!!... 4. Every time I prepare a post the computer crashes!!!! (also 100% true!!!!)
Anyway I am here (again) now and our availability for the remainder of this year in our 6 berth/pet friendly caravan follows:
Saturday 7th September to Friday 13th September at £350 Friday 13th September to Monday 16th September at £220 Friday 25th October to Monday 28th October at £250 Friday 1st November to Monday 4th November at £200 *prices quoted include beds made up on arrival
and some great deals available between 4th November and 23rd December (especially for our returning guests)
In this caravan Christmas and New Year are booked but we may well be able to help in another so do get in touch anyway.
Also 2020 is booking up fast!!!!
As usual a £100 deposit will be required to secure dates and the balance and a £100 damages bond is required 4 weeks before the stay.

Finally, today, I remembered to take some photos of the new looking lounge and dining room (ie minus the bench seating in the dining area!). We do hope that our regulars and future guests will approve of the changes and snap up the only dates which remain available between now and Mid October as follows:
Monday 18th to Friday 22nd March 2019 Monday 1st to Friday 5th April 2019 Saturday 6th to Saturday 13th July 2019... Saturday 7th to Friday 20th September 2019 (full week and short break options in this period)

Well we are not quite two weeks into the site closure period and we are felling chuffed with progress to date:
* The bookings are flooding in, March remains quiet, so far, but we are offering some excellent deals (especially for returning guests), we have a little Easter school holiday availability but, after that, we have just a handful of full weeks and limited short breaks available until November!!! So get n touch soon! * The dining area corner suite has been removed he...nce proper chairs to sit on now instead. * All the washing, drying and ironing from the Christmas & New Year period in our three caravans is done...…..ironing 8 king duvet sets, 3 double duvet sets and 7 single sets plus tea towels etc was a challenge in the 2 days I had set aside for the task but I got there!!! *It is only stretching our airing cupboard enough to put everything away that remains work in progress!!! Oh and updating our photos of the caravan as I have only just realised how out of date some of them are!!!
Roll on 1st March, the 2019 season and as good as occupancy as in the 2018 season!

If you can't be at any of these games in person why not book yourselves a long weekend and watch on the big screen in Trecco Bay (dates after 1st March anyway as the site will be closed (for private lets) until then).

Our 2018 availability is reducing by the day. In two of our three caravans we have little now besides a few short breaks between 2nd March and mid October. In this caravan though, due in part to a few ill health cancellations, we can still offer:
