6 month old giant 2 grand bike developed a crack in frame took a month to get it fixed under warranty via Tredz(was without bike for a month) just picked up today to find the back wheel not fitted correctly and pedals left loose! Pretty poor would have expected some level of quality control before they let bikes out . While the warranty time scale may have been down to giant i feel Trefz failed in not keeping me informed and taking over a week before sending photos of the crack.All in all definitely only worthy of a 1 star review.

Terrible returns process. They don't pay the cost of returns (very expensive if a large parcel) nor are they signed up to a postal provider such as collectplus (like their competitors are). Don't bother ordering something online if you feel you may have to return something. There are other providers with the same stock that offer a better return service.

Your customer service is appalling. You have had my bike for nearly four weeks. For a week it sat somewhere without being looked at.

After several opinions from various qualified bike mechanics locally, having changed wheels, saddles, pedals, seat posts, lubed and cleaned everything, the final opinion was there may be a fault in the frame. I have returned my Giant Defy personally, driving from Birmingham to your store in Swansea to reduce waiting time. Wasted effort, time, fuel and money. My initial thought regarding your service was quite positive. However, now I'm disgusted.

I have sent at least three emails. None have been replied to.
I have spent in total over an hour awaiting someone to answer my phone calls.

I received (after me calling Tredz) an update saying there was no fault found.
Today (once again, me chasing you) I received an update that a fault had been fixed, yet there's no record of "the fault". This was then referred to a manager for re-inspection as the notes were "a mess" , having just called your team that hasn't been done.

Going back to my initial call I stated I was taking part in an event this Sunday and would want my bike back in time. I wasn't able to ride a bike 10 miles last year due to recovering from major surgery. This ride on Sunday means a lot to me and is meant to show that with the right support and care, someone who has overcome lung cancer can fight back and do almost anything. You're killing that at the moment.

Please could someone please sort something out regarding this matter and stop wasting my time. I want a solution/fix and my bike back (or a replacement, frame, as per Giants lifetime frame warranty).

From when I walk in to the shop to when i walk out the service is excellent and they give helpful advice and take time to look into any question I ask. I recently bought my first bike there and have had mechanical problems since perchase but Tredz didn't fail to provide and most of the time i would have my bike back and running within a day or couple hours. Fantastic customer service.

One star as there is no option for zero.... after spending 3.5k on a bike just a few rides later I've been left without my bike for 2 weeks and after a 2hr drive ( told it was fixed )about to leave and I notice its still not sorted and I'm left bikeless for another few weeks.... no customer service at all!! ... AVOID!! AVOID!! AVOID!!

I don't really understand how any business can sell products they don't actually have in stock and suggest that they do? I purchased an item on the 15th April to then wonder why it hadn't turned up in the post. When I checked my order it told me that it was awaiting stock? its now been posted 6 days later after my order on, wait for it...standard delivery and estimated to arrive in a further 5 days! I think Tredz Bikes need to be clear with customers that they don't hold any stock and that when ordering they fulfil your order by placing an order themselves with there distributer. Now I am sure this business will say 'we can't hold all stock' but I think in this day in age business's like Tredz need to be honest with their customers and inform them that it is on order and will take 2 weeks to post to you. This is the 2nd time and I won't be doing it a 3rd I'm afraid.
