Thriving as much in the solace of his physically demanding work as he does in the life-affirming relationships of community, Tree Brother believes he was put on this earth to live in harmony with both.

Trees are important in many ways. On a global scale, life on this planet wouldn't exist without them. They influence everything from global temperatures to weather systems and we humans have become acutely aware of their significance over the last couple of decades, and how that impacts on all our lives. Without them, there would be no air for us to breathe.

On a local level, they enhance and add to our lives greatly; bearing fruit, providing timber for fuel and construction and giving shade in sunny times; not to mention the outstanding natural beauty they provide for our enjoyment.
In this modern age of technology they can easily be overlooked but they enhance our immediate environment in our gardens, streets and parks.

It is the job of the Tree Brother, to work with trees in this human environment to plant, maintain and at times fell them.
