Treehouse tale:

We'd been growing organic food for several years before we had the brainwave of setting up our own shop in 1991 to sell really good produce at fair prices. And to cook some of it too - to make fantastic food that people could enjoy in our restaurant.

And it's worked. Now firmly established as an Aberystwyth institution we have gone from strength to strength.
And we're still enjoying it too!

Our latest venture is a shop selling everything you need for a holistic lifestyle - natural skin and bodycare, nutritional supplements, clothing, homeware, natural paints and baby stuff.

Since May 2006 we've been under new ownership, but kept the same fantastic staff, great products and business ethos. We look forward to another fifteen years of success!

We promise:

We really care about our food and how it's grown. That's why we'll always buy local where we can so that the produce on our shelves is as fresh as possible. We are committed to reducing the size of our footprint on the earth; reducing food miles, waste and unnecessary packaging.

Fair trade is important to us too - we want our producers here in Wales and those in other countries to get a fair wage for their work.

But we won't compromise on taste and value - our top concern is that you, our customers, should get the food and service you deserve. And that's a promise!
