Just to the north of here you will find one of the great little railways of Wales, the Brecon Mountain Railway.
The Dan Yr Ogof Showcaves to the west of the town provide spectacular underground sights. Venture into Cardiff for a day-trip and see the sights; there's Cardiff Castle, Cardiff Bay on the water front and you can also take a tour round the Millennium Stadium.
Tregenna Hotel is also a few hundered yards away from city centre, railaway and main bus station.

A neat and comfortable stay. We came in late and staff were very courteous and helpful. I would stay again.
A comfortable stay & a very good breakfast.
A bit dated, but very clean, the staff were friendly and very welcoming. Food is superb. Good location, just over £3 for a taxi back from the town centre, and plenty of taxis available.
