Tutoring Service (Independent)

KS1 to KS4

We are an independent coaching service offering tuition to KS1, KS2, KS3 and KS4 pupils. We also provide a project /homework service.

We pride ourselves on being enthusiastic and creative with our tuition sessions. We aim to raise the confidence of a nervous learner and make the learning experience as fun as possible.

Tutoring sessions are generally carried out from home in a dedicated, peaceful learning space. However we can travel to you, if required.

Subjects: English, Maths and Spanish
KS1 – KS4 (ages 5-16)
£12 for 45 mins / £15 for 1 hour
Spanish tuition - great for holiday conversation, getting ahead of the game, or just for fun!


Overview of tuition session:
Firstly, we conduct an assessment of your child’s learning objectives which typically lasts 15 -20 minutes. We like to think of this time as “getting to know” you and your child prior to sessions commencing. This is free of charge. If you and your child feel happy and comfortable, then we will arrange for the tutoring sessions to begin at a later date – usually within a few days.
Once tutoring sessions are in full swing, we will provide you with regular progress updates to ensure you are kept fully aware of your child’s development.

Let me tell you a bit about our experience:

We are a mother and daughter team who have joined together to bring you a unique tutoring service. We have both mentored in schools previously helping students with English, Maths and Spanish.
We adapt our teaching styles to each student, aiming to keep it very different from a school environment so that your child feels relaxed and comfortable. Our tutoring sessions offer valuable one on one teaching that can be tailored specifically to the student’s needs and personality. We always ensure that your child is free to express themselves and any concerns they have, whilst learning at a pace they are comfortable with.

Project /Homework service
If your child would benefit from a mentor to work on a project or homework task such as; an arts and crafts project or a more formal homework task, then we are here to help!
