UWTSD Lampeter men’s rugby club was established in 1850 by Professor Rowland Williams. It has been fundamental in the establishment of rugby as the national sport of Wales, mostly due to its prestigious title of being the oldest club in Wales, a fact recognised by the WRU. Currently the club is very active with regular training sessions (6 hours per week), membership in the national league and social events for its members, this consists of; socials, themed events and club outings as well as access to international tickets at cost price for those players who show commitment. We are always seeking new members no matter their ability.
