they had 3 african Pygmy hedgehogs in one viv (solitary animals that are supposed to live alone) they were all asleep under a bedding of hay/straw (totally not recommended) with no wheel or activitys, and the man who spoke to my wife said they were in the sale and they were all 6 months old and lived together, she wanted to buy them all just to get them out of there, as the man didn't have a clue about them as she asked where there wheel was and he said what wheel , I wish I had the room to rescue these but then it encourages the pet shop to stock more when they haven't got a clue about these animals

It all started about three years ago when my mum and dad bought a baby Hermanns tortoise for my birthday and ever since then I always go there for my tortoises needs. I even bought a fish tank from there last August and they told us exactly what to, and then three days later I went back to buy my fish and I bought five tetras and unfortunately they died the next day so I rang them up and they sorted it out for us and they tested our tank water and then we got three danios for free and they are still swimming around the tank healthy and happy. I recommend coming here and the staff are all very polite, kind and helpful.

Responding to reviews. Firstly Tsunami Aquatics is a reputable aquatic centre who take pride in the shop and put the care of all Live stock in the centre as a priority. We have many happy regular customers who shop with us because of the quality of our livestock. With all best intentions aside when dealing with livestock problems can occasionally arise, be it here or after purchase. If here then we have expert staff and a quarantine system in which to take action. If problems arise after sale then we will always work with our customers to correct them. When livestock leaves our centre for new homes we no longer have control of the conditions in which they are kept so we offer as much advice and information on care as possible. If issues still arise then we start the diagnosis of any fish related problems with free water quality tests. When the causing factor is established we will do our upmost to help get it corrected. Our attitude will never be one of "tough luck" we will if needed replace fish for our customers when the fault is not ours so long as advice has been taken to correct any problems. The quality and service of our staff is high, we try our best to courteously discourage any customer who we feel may be making the wrong decision as we have a responsibility not only to our customer but also to the care of the animal or fish in question. This may not always meet with everbodys expectations at the time but it is the correct policy to follow. We will always want customers to talk to us about anything fish or reptile related, advice is free and we will listen and often learn back from a customers experience

I went to tsumami aquatics centre in chepstow today and i wasn't too pleased with the member of staff in there called Clare, her attitude towards us was quite abrupt and although she was obviously trying to advise us on our fish, it was not done in a very appropriate manner to my daughter who wanted to buy two goldfish and clare said if your going to put those fish in the same tank then im not going to sell them to you, i was quite shocked at this as have been keeping fish for years and she had no idea where i was going to put them, She then seemed to go behind the counter to tell the boss Chris about it as my daughters seemed to think they were both looking and frowning at us, My daughters had waited all day to get their fish and then the day was totally spoilt by this one person who obviously just works from the book on fishkeeping. I have visited your shop since it opened but now im not sure we will be back again,
