We visit Tudor house on a regular basis and can not fault the food or the staff, great friendly atmosphere, staff always happy to stop and chat, we are slowly making our way through the menu! And the cakes are lovely, will be visiting again very soon,xxx

We chose Tudor house for our wedding catering and Wedding cake. Paul and the staff were amazing and our cake was out of this world! A huge Thankyou and we would highly recommend to anyone!

We call in the summer for lunch , always fresh food and friendly service. Been for Christmas lunch today , great food , very good prices and friendly service as always!

There is a wide selection to choose from including an individual afternoon tea where you get to choose what sandwich filing you have which saves any waste :) My Dad mentioned that I probably would not eat the cake served along side the scones & we were immediately offered a choice of replacement. Excellent value & service, I will definitely visit again.

Paul and Ivor at @tudor house Prestatyn catered a festive afternoon tea for us at Gyrn Castle, Llanasa as part of our wedding last week. From start to finish they were perfect. Dealing with both of them was a dream, they are experienced, professional and kind. They fully understood what we wanted and delivered well above our expectations. Everything was absolutely delicious! The festive afternoon tea and mulled cider were huge hits with our 160 guests and we couldnt have been happier. Thanks Paul and Ivor, we couldn't recommend Tudor house highly enough! Big hugs, Caoimhe and Osian x

Paul & Ivor at Tudor house catered for my wedding on Saturday just gone 14th June. The level of quality that they produced was of the highest excellence & myself & all my guests were thoroughly impressed with every aspect from the tastiness to presentation to the professionalism & courteousness of the staff. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them to cater for any occasion or simply to pop into their shop for a tasty treat. Thanks guys, you made my wedding more memorable with your outstanding food. North Wales really does have a gem in you two. Sarah. X

Lovely warm surroundings, the coffee had a nice clean fresh taste to it and my husband said the bacon was really lean and good quality , Well worth a visit and highly recommended

I recently used Tudor House Tearooms after my mum's funeral. An afternoon tea for approximately 40 people was chosen. This included a selection of fresh sandwiches, sausage rolls, pastries and scones with jam and cream. The food was amazing and everyone I spoke with said the same! Service was friendly and efficient. Thank you so much Ivor and Paul, knew that you could be trusted to do a good job! X

I just had my baby shower here on the weekend my partner and mum sorted it all and it was a fantastic day! we had the loveliest buffet which everyone complimented on afterwards, and we were looked after very well my family, friends and all the kids had a great day and I couldn't fault the owners did everything they could for us! (P.s sorry about the mess from the kids) xxx

I am disgusted to read all these bad comments about Tudor House. It's a great place to eat and theres is always nice and welcoming atmosphere as well as the service, it's always been fantastic when ever I go. Paul and Ivor are the nicest people you'll ever meet!

Every time we come to Prestatyn going to Tudor House is a big part of the holiday for us. Food and service are wonderful. If anyone I know says they're going to Prestatyn we tell them to go to Tudor House.

Cannot compliment this place any higher - food so good and so fresh. Friendly staff in relaxed atmosphere! Highly recommended!

Whilst visiting my family in Prestatyn I called here again this time without my friends .

Initially I was told to sit ( on a small table not the one I wanted.) and to share with a regular customers.

Being very British I declined and sat at a breakfast bar as we do mix unless invited by someone in the group!

A lady came and sat down and invited me to sit with her at the said table. Once again I declined!

After eating my meal I felt really guilty and thought why not chat to the lady?

I took my cup of tea over and started chatting to her. She was 90 years old ,still compusmentus and interesting to talk to!

She told me her about her childhood and her subsequent years living in Prestayn.

Food for thought!



Everyone is soooooo judgemental in this day and age 🤔Walk a mile in someone else's shoes before criticising.

🤔Do not hide behind words on the Internet,please speak up at the time and give people the chance to defend themselves.

🤔We can learn a lot from the older generation,looking after one another without expecting something in return.The guys at Tudor house know and do look after the older generation, with the routines that they are in.

🤔 Without the older generation we might not have the freedom to do what we now or have the money.

🤔 The owners and staff at Tudor House to perhaps address the issues brought up on this forum.

🤔The food and catering at Tudor House is exceptional.Perhaps they were busy ,short staffed when you recieved poor service or food quality.

😆Please speak up at the time as we have all been given the right to do this!

Lovely afternoon tea. Great selection of sandwiches and cakes fresh and very tasty had one before and know doubt will be visiting there again. Also there fish and chips are delicious.

Went with my friend for a girly lunch and the food was lovely. The service left much to be desired - when handed our menus the waiter was texting on his phone, took the menu from us before we'd ordered and it took half an hour for us to get our bill. We were hardly spoken to, just stared at by the waiter while he pulled faces. We felt more of a nuisance than anything while we were there.

Can't understand how everyone is writing these lovely reviews. Went here today for late lunch with my boyfriend and sister. When we walked in the waiters looked shocked to see people in there 20's walking in and they were looking there nose up at us and it wasn't a nice welcome. Stupidly we sat down and within minutes the waiter was asking if we were ready to order. I ordered gammon which was dry as a bone and chewy so I couldn't eat it, my boyfriend ordered fish and chips which was all frozen food and my sister ordered a panini which was cold and the main filling was lettuce baring in mind she ordered 'Brie and cranberry'. After we had finished, we sat waiting Atleast 15 minutes for a waiter to clear our plates or ask us if the meal was ok. After getting impatient I got up and had to go over to waiter to ask for the bill. I don't normally write reviews like this and support businesses on Prestatyn high street but the service and food was terrible and I will not be returning.

my sister in law came here with her family and baby who is 1 years old and was told to leave by the owner who assumed she was a single mother and did not want any "bratty children" in his cafe. As a single mother I think it's very disgusting to be stereotyped and also judged whether a single mum or not with children to be kicked out.
