We came in on a very busy Friday night, staff were attentive and really pleasant. Our food arrived before the drinks we ordered but we received an apology for the delay (to be honest, we didn't mind). The food was delicious and so were the puddings. I tried a cocktail and was impressed with the flavour combination. All in all, great way to finish a day

We booked online, very easy to do, the table was waiting for us when we arrived.

The drop bid service was a little slow, but the flavours in the cocktails were great, and I love the Rum Boards.

The food arrived in great time, especially considering how busy they were. Would highly recommend the Prawn & Mango curry, I could have eaten two!

Excellent experience and visit!

Turtle Bay Winchester is my usual stomping ground but Cardiff has set the bar high!!!

Friendly staff, banging new menu and a wall of speakers.......whats not to like.

Thanks Rainbow ( Abbey) for the excellent service, the food is simply amazing and decor perfect. Well done.

Really enjoyed this meal in Swansea! Having had a really spicy dish in the Cardiff branch a few years back, this meal really knocked that one out the water! A beautiful chicken dish, not too spicy, and a lovely soft punch. Happy days for groups, parties and lovely staff, I would certainly go back.

Love it here - have had food on two occasions which was lovely and another two occasions popped in for cocktails! Would recommend!

If you don’t like spicy food I recommend the mo chicken, was really tasty and mild spice! Loved it!

I am from California visiting Cardiff. I was there this afternoon for the first time. The curry goat on a pot was very good. It was medium spicy but that's okay because I love spicy food. The atmosphere and the Reggae music playing was very good. Everyone working there were very friendly. I do plan to go back before going home.

On arrival things weren’t looking too good. The place was heaving. We had a table booked but got sat 15 minutes later. We were early for the table so knew we had a wait but it was 45 minutes wait for the bar. Also as the 2 4 1 offer was on if you wanted to order a soft drink or pint that wasn’t on the two for one you had to find another server as the one we had was, “only doing cocktails on the two for one deal”. Not good if you have waited 30 mins to be served to join the queue somewhere else.

So we got sat down at our table and it took over an hour from ordering to our starters arriving. That being said we were offered a free round of drinks for the wait and the food did not disappoint. The garlic prawns were to die for. The only nicer ones were fresh ones caught that day in France. Beautiful. The mains arrived quicker after the starters and it was amazing. The chicken curry was nice with a refreshing kick of mango. The goat curry was soft due to it being slow cooked. You have to try the fried dumplings and the bora roti was just beautiful as well as the crispy chickpeas. There is something for everyone. Costing us only £33 for two people with 3 starters and 2 mains you can’t go wrong (we couldn’t decide on starters so had 3 and shared, it was treat night after all). Our friend had the prawn curry and it was amazing and I wish I had ordered that than the chicken one as the prawns were undeniably beautiful. Unfortunately we were all too full and it was far to late for puddings by the time our experience ended. I put the time down to the fact Pete tong was playing at cardiff castle. I feel the music is very loud for the establishment and the staff struggled to hear customers when ordering but aside from that it’s a friendly ambiance and excellent value for undeniably tasty Caribbean food.

Fab choice of meals, even for veggies & vegans 😀. Friendly waiting staff, lovely atmosphere & nice cocktails.

Very busy and very loud but only probably due to the Ed Sheeran concerts being on.

The burger I had was on but a bit on the dry side. The jerk chicken is very hot and spicey so be warned. Service was.quick and staff were lovely.
