Literacy support for children with reading and spelling difficulties

I have 14 years experience in education and I have been a specialist literacy coordinator for the last 6 years and I am BDA accredited level 3, I have been working with children with specific literacy difficulties.

I will carry out an assessment with your child, looking for gaps in their phonological awareness and phonics. I will then devise a programme of work to fill in these gaps. You can then either carry on with the work yourself or I can offer private tutoring.

Sadly, schools do not have the additional resources or funding to be able to give the support a lot of struggling children need, not all children are eligible for local authority support either. I can offer that support.

Please note that I do not offer any diagnostic assessments. Diagnostic assessments will not change the support you would receive from the LEA or schools.

Prices: -
Assessment and a programme of work £80 (this includes up to 2 visits for assessment, a programme of work, report and travelling)
One-to-one tutoring £20 for half an hour, £30 for an hour.
