Very tasty food. I had the rump steak, which could have come with a few more trimmings. Had cheesecake for pudding, which was stunning

Huge menu, something for everyone, great atmosphere, feels like a trip back in time. service by some interesting girls, big huge portions, very fair prices, incredibly fast service. Had the Shepard pie, decent flavour, slightly bland, as were most of the meals we had.
Chose this restaurant because of good TripAdvisor reviews. It did not disappoint the food and service was excellent. The restaurant itself was very cosy and within keeping for the age of the building. Hats off to the chef for preparing such good food. We will be back again next year.
