Ty-Mawr Lime Ltd

I have been an occasional customer of Ty Mawr products and courses for several decades. I recently placed a fairly large palleted order, including four tubs of their 'Fat Lime Putty - Fine' for making up into plain limewash. The lime putty was sloppy (not very fat) and was off-white - the colour being no good for maintaining previously limewashed walls, even though their description states it is 'ideal for this purpose'. Since I have never had a problem making pure-white limewash, I contacted Ty Mawr. They repeatedly failed to reply to my emails. Eventually I spoke to the business founder, Nigel Gervis. After several broken agreements to replace the product, and more unanswered emails, I bought from elsewhere.
24/3/2017 update: I was pleased to receive an unsolicited email from Diane at Ty-Mawr, explaining that they had messed up and that they had rediscovered my complaint as part of their ISO9001 procedures. They have now collected the lime tubs and given me a refunded. They have therefore redeemed themselves.
