Good morning everyone we hope you are all back in the swing of life after the summer holidays. Cardigan has quiten down but still lovely.
We were wandering down by the riverside yesterday and discovered a few things. There was a large 2 tier carpark right on the river with a cafe and restaurant one end looking towards Cardigan Castle and bridge. The other end was an Indian restaurant which is housed inside a boat.
These are a few things in Cardigan to be enjoyed all year round. Hope you like the pictures 😁

This video is taken from the far side of the village where there is parking and picnic tables, with lovely views back over the village and beach which is dog friendly, kayaks also launch from this beach.

Since it has quietened down Nadine and I went to a small coastal village just about 4 miles away. It looked lovely in the sun so I thought I would share some pictures and video ( on the next post )😁 the name of the village is Aberporth, and well worth a visit 🙂

Good morning everyone, hope you all had a nice weekend regardless of the weather 🙂
Yesterday we were busy, well Nadine was, I was just a pair of hands 😁 some more bark went down and the wire has started to go up. 2 planters have gone on either side of the entrance gate to the Dogs Area.
I have included a picture of the gate, a short video of the fence, the sounds you hear are children playing on the camping field, the banging is Nadine attaching the fence to the posts and th...e whistling is a farmer using his dog to round up his sheep will be the next post

What would you name the new dogs area?

Hope everyone is not too wet with that storm going through last night.
Anyway enough about the miserable weather I have news in regards to the Dog Area. Only have the fencing to put around and then anyone who stays here will have the benefit of it. A place to let your dogs off their leads and have a bit of a run around.
Here are a few picture of the gates that have been put in. A small one at the top of the terrace and the main gate, which has a self closing spring. This en...sures that your dog will not be able to exit through any of the gates or push them open.

Good morning everyone 😃 I have just been to Cardigan and on the way back I drove through Gwbert. It looked lovely so I decided to share. This is what you can see while visiting us less than 2 miles away.

Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen, I am sorry that I have not posted anything for a while.
Nadine and I have been busy sorting out the entrance drive, the daisy's looked lovely but were taking over, so Nadine strimmed them and behind. We had a bit of a shock to find some lovely shrubs hidden under all the weeds and grass. Black matting has been pegged down and bark has started to go down, as you can see from the pictures below. It has taken about 3 half days work to get this far. Only another 10 bags of bark needed until it's done.
