Tyn Cornel Camping

A very friendly campsite owned and run by a lovely couple. It has exceptional access to the local white water rafting centre. It can busy in the summer but there is plenty of room.

Excellent campsite, very friendly owners, plenty of space, everything was clean and tidy. Will visit again!

We highly recommend Tyn Cornel. The campsite was set up very well with facilities in easy walking distance of the lower field campsites. Isi and Stu are very friendly and happy to answer questions about the campsite and National Park. Located on the east side of the National Park, this campsite is a great starting point for day trips, including Snowdon, Harlech Castle and Portmerion. Be sure to reserve a fire pit - they are an added bonus for a small deposit!

Tyn Cornel is one of the best campsites we have visited so far, Isi and Stu are friendly and welcoming, the campsite has all the facilities you could hope for and is situated in a lovely area, right next to a gorgeous river.
All the facilities are contained in one block and include Toilets, free showers, fridge & freezer, hot water pot wash and washing/drying facilities, all are kept clean and well looked after.
There is also a small shop in the reception area which sells essentials like milk and eggs from a local farm, biscuits and marshmallows to make smores over the firepits that they can provide.
They have free WiFi which works really well over the whole site and on the non electric pitches there are covered over picnic tables which are a godsend in the rain, there is also a toilet block/potwash area here so you don't have to walk a long way at night.

The best facilities you'll find - very clean and loads of hot water. The hardstanding field felt a little claustrophobic and unfortunately no river view despite being so close. The camping field looked great with brilliant covered picnic tables and river views.

Excellent small campsite. Great shower block. Perfect location for white water paddling or Hill walking.
