Design Process Gathering of Information Before digging into your design, we take the time to gather as much information as we can on your market, and competition. During our initial meetings with you, we will fill out a questionnaire that will help you determine their needs: This will build a picture for the role your website serve? Is it for promotional purposes, e-commerce, or to provide information?
... Website Planning In this stage, we will design a sitemap. A sitemap is a list of all the topics the website will cover, as well as the likely placement – or navigation – for each area of content. The sitemap acts as a guide as we design your website.
Designing Phase We conducted analyses of all the information you have provided, and with the aid of your sitemap, we are finally ready to get designing. Outlining the steps that need to be taken during the web design process are too numerous and specific to get into here, but there is one factor that plainly rings true: Successful web design responds to a client’s needs. Communication between us and you the client is of key importance throughout the design stage. We need to make sure that our plan is going exactly according to your needs. This will also ensure less trouble with regards to changes that are needed when the product is actually delivered. Now that you have discussed all the important stuff, development of the website can start.
Development Phase This is the point where we decide how the website will look and feels for you the client. And once we have site for you to look at we will contact you for final design approval.
Testing Phase The testing phase of website building is absolutely crucial and is our best opportunity to make sure that each page on your new site is running smoothly. Testing will be undertaken not only by myself, but also by all my colleagues, and in many cases, you the client. Once we are done testing your website, and you give it the go-ahead, the website can be handed off to you the client and made live. You will be using online GUI to upload all the necessary files to your Website At this stage, the domain name will have been registered along with the appropriate hosting server. Transfer all the files to the hosting server linking to the domain, The website is live. Maintenance
The last and final phase of the website is maintenance. As mentioned before, this is one of the most important phases of the entire process. We will offer you all the support and services you will even need after the website is delivered. If it is an e-commerce website, we will provide a way for you to add new products.
