I popped in to the sales office 28th Jan and was allowed to browse the stock unhindered. There was help available if I needed it but I wasn't followed around or had any sales pressure. I was interested in three cars and asked questions about them all and settled on this one. The car was ready about 36 hours later with a new MOT and taxed for the year. I've been happy thus far and would no have quibbles about recommending them or using them in the future ~ Steve

Experience was buying a car from uk motors with Laurence doing the deal for Robert Ashford. I didn't notice till I agreed to buy the car that when you locked the wheel hard over, it was like it was going over a brick. Also the lighting system and speedometer were not working properly. On taking the car to an auto electrician he found that the wiring loom had burn out. Taking the car to a mechanic he found drive shafts from the gearbox were badly losing oil. They wouldn't take car back or give any refund when i called them the next day, just told me "sold as seen - tough luck". I was advised to get rid of the car which I did and told the buyer what was wrong with the car. I took Laurence and Robert Ashford as honest people. At the age of 76 i cannot afford to be ripped off for £3850. Would Robert Ashford put his daughter in that car to pass her test?
5 stars for a con, I'd score it no stars if i could. like a responce

The experience at UK Car Sales, Swansea was fantastic because I felt valued and had plenty of time to make a decision.
Lawrence & Jack always went that 'extra mile' to make sure all my requests and requirements were met. The vehicle itself was well presented and and even though I'm clocking up the miles, the car I purchased continues to be incredibly reliable. I strongly recommend you take a visit to UK Car Sales, whether you are seeking a little practical hatchback, or a sleek top marque super car, the choice is waiting for you, as well as a very warm welcome.

- thanks guys! Mary

After seeing an advert for a car I had been searching for at a seemingly good price, I made contact and ended up calling in to pay a £200 deposit. Unfortunately, I didn't take the car for a,test drive, nor did I have a thorough look over it, primarily as it was two years old, looked OK parked inside the showroom so didn't really feel the need to do so, what a terrible mistake.

When I went to pick the car up, it was parked outside in the sun. I could see a few things I wasn't particularly happy with, such as scuff mark to bumper, pain chip marks, and scuffs to both rear doors, however, decided to just go with it as it was two year old after all.

Once all finance paperwork signed, things start to transpire, such as; illegal NSF tyre, missing boot/cargo mat, only one intelligent key, no service history whatsoever, and no SD card to operate the Sat Nav.

In fairness, I was given £150 off the price to cover the tyre and boot mat.

After several days, once valeted a few issues with the bodywork came to light, namely; re-sprayed front bumper, and wing, rear sprayed bumper and trim, over spray on roof, bonner and pillar. In addition both the OSF & OSR wheel arches had seemingly been removed and replaced using incorrect fittings, in addition an oil leak of some sorts was discovered.

After contacting UK Car Sales, I was contacted the following day to say that they knew nothing about the damage and must have been like it when they bought it in.

Not happy with the answer, I contacted them again to be informed by Lawrence that he had repaired the car after it sustained "superficial damage" and replaced several parts. When questioned why I was not informed of this at the point of sale he omitted to provide an answer.

Under the Consumer Protection Act dealers are now legally responsible to disclose that vehicles have been accident damage repaired, and commit an offence if they don't.

After further checks it was discovered that there are no records on any manufacturers systems of the vehicle, and as such no service records or recall work was listed/known.

Furthermore, the car was advertised as a two previous owner car, when the V5 arrived it showed the vehicle to have three previous owners!

After contacting Lawrence he agreed for the 19 issues to be resolved, bur wouldn't allow the car to be taken to an independent body shop for checks on the repair work. On this basis the only other option was to formally reject the car as per my rights under the consumer protection act. Lawrence agreed with this, however, after travelling there he didn't have the courtesy or man enough to be there, but instead arranged an orchestrated phone call by Jack, who apparently knew nothing about it, strange for a 3 man operation for communication to be so poor.

He then back tracked and changed his mind that he was not willing to take the car back. Unfortunately, under the Consumer Protection Act, if a vehicle is not as described then the consumer has a statutory right to reject the vehicle and have a full refund which the dealer is legally obliged to provide.

Close Brothers Motor Finance are a company that I would strongly urge anyone to avoid using, primarily due to their non existent customer care/service. A total of 49 emails, a recored delivery letter and two phone calls have all been ignored, exceptionally unprofessional at best.

I am now in a full on legal fight with Close Brothers Finance, one of the most inept companies I've had the displeasure of using, and UK Car Sales to invoke my right to return the car and obtain my refund.

This will get very messy, and a lot of publicity will be generated, as I intend to let the world know how deceitful and dishonest they have been.

All of this could have been so easily avoided just by being honest and truthful from the start.

Had a few teething problems at the beginning but resolved now, service was great and no pushy salesman, car looks great and what the daughter wanted, thanks Lawrence for your help with the issue on the car, cheers Emyr Williams 👍👍

Bought a car from U.K. Cars a few years ago. Went back with sister to have a look this week to end up buying a car, and from the minute we got there no one was in our face or pushing us into the car. They let you crack on and if any question Lawrence is really approachable and helpful. Allows you to test drive without any worries. I then end up buying a car also, and honestly Lawrence was excellent. I had some complications which was down to Trade Centre wales so he helped me to his best abilty to get me a good deal with my part ex and my new car. Would recommend to anyone... Thank you again for all your help 👌

I have bought a BMW 645ci from UK car sales, the service they have provided was unquestionable. specially when i had issues with the car they offered the refund or pay for repair which not many garages do at first contact. I would recommend their service highly to any one, there are 2 very good looking people JACK & Lawrence who would go out of the way to help you.
I am nearly finish with the work needed on the car but their contribution towards it was greatly appreciated.
I would say to all the people reading review is not many garages who provide you after sale facilities like UK car out there.
I would definitely go back and provide more custom to them and refer to my friends and family.
Thanks :)

Don't believe what you read. They stated a Toyota Yaris mileage was 69K when the last MOT had 75K. They stated they would supply two sets of keys and only supplied one and no key codes.

Bought a Seat Ibiza FR, checked against other garages and the price was more than competitive. 1 year later the car is running smoothly with no faults and not even a tyre change yet!! Jack was a pleasure to do the deal with, he ensured the vehicle was ready for viewing and he was free for discussion on my arrival. Overall Superb service and will definitely be using them again! Thank you UKCarSales!
