UK LNG's memebrs are end users and operators of LNG process plant, the aim is to improve the process safety at their respective facilities. This is achieved by undertaking the following roles: • Information exchange by operators and end users in respect of the use of small LNG with a volume below 200 tonne. • Development of best practice procedures for implementation in specific circumstances• Dissemination of information regarding products and services for the LNG industry. • Lateral learning. • Meet and hold technical workshops for the benefit of members. • Arrange or contribute to technical seminars with a theme of small scale LNG. • Create a framework for the benefit of end users and operators in respect to expertise and experience via a contact network between the members. • Maintain an interface with technical societies and institutions for small scale LNG. • Maintain an interface with the Health and Safety Executive for operation and maintenance of small scale LNG.
