Uplands Market IS CANCELLED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
WeŌĆÖve spent the past week or so in intensive consultation in a rapidly changing set of circumstances to try and maintain access to local produce usually sold through our markets to support local producers and also to offer alternatives to the supermarkets. However, following further developments over the weekend we just donŌĆÖt think we can balance the potential public health risks with the needs for producers to keep trading at... street markets and so we have taken the very difficult decision to cancel all of our street markets until further notice.
We are working on other ways of bringing traders and their goods to your attention for you to buy from them directly remotely where that is possible ŌĆō please keep an eye on our social media feeds as we highlight traders to you.
We hope to see you all again in the not too distant future. In the meantime, please make it worth the while of everyone who is losing their livelihood by #stayingathome for everything other than essential journeys.
