Thank you Emma & Lyndon for sharing your little piece of paradise � Even though the weather wasn't great we had an amazing time. There were plenty of fossils to be found. The hut was cosy and extremely well equipped and the bed was super comfy. The peace and tranquillity was wonderful too. I could quite happily live in those surroundings.

Peaceful paradise! We had a great weekend enjoying the beautiful stunning scenery, fossilling and even some stargazing. This really is a place to chill and enjoy the peace & quiet, we have been before and Emma & Lyndon have gone to great effort to make the Shepherd Hut a home from home. We will be back!

Just got back from Emmas place.

One of the best trips to Wales, for sure the most beutiful, stunning place we have ever stayed in.

Advice - check the map before you go, this will help you to find it.

Just bring your own food, Emma got fully equipped kitchen! You will find everything you need.

Booking was easy, Check in was super pleasant.

If anybody seeking for peace and tranquillity - best place to go.

As for adventures - fossils hunting so much fun, run up and down the hills, sheeps arround, so cute.

I had a wonderful time, not only doing my favourite thing ( fossil hunting) but also enjoying the peace and the absolutely amazing views. Emma met us in the village and escorted us to the hut, she made us feel very welcome and the hut itself is perfect, it has everything you need and more. Thank you so much Emma we will be back in September. If anyone is thinking of going, do it! It's amazing!

Had an amazing weekend in the quarry loverly little place with great finds. Staff are really friendly and accommodation was great. I was on the sofa bed which was so comfy I fell asleep in 5 mins (usually takes and hour at home) properly helped the fact I was tired from fossil hunting all day lol

Fantastic weekend in glorious sunshine ! Gorgeous hut ( especially if you are in tiny houses) which is really well appointed. My son and I have been before to the site but being able to stay in luxury after a hard days fossil hunting was bliss ! We will definitely be back

Beautiful setting, loving accommodation and amazing owners. Me and the kids felt right at home didn’t wanna leave.
