I love this idea! Do we have any couples who might be interested locally? Amazing way to celebrate! 🍾💍🍾
nice place, good venue, good staff, but I would love to see some draft horse events too, also some axe and chainsaw demonstrations
Wonderful day today. One of the highlights of my year and this year was no exception. Thank you to all the organisers - good job well done.
Weather wasn't the best but as normal was a brilliant show , food and drink prices through the roof award winning pasty or not £6 your having a laugh an expensive laugh at that !!!
We love this show - great atmosphere and a wonderful range of exhibitors. Love to see the young farmers of the future there too - so vital that the heritage continues. Fantastic to have this on our doorstep
We had a fabulous day at the show yesterday showing our sheep. The only criticism is the show is a victim of its own success, some of the sheep classes were to large for the rings. x
We are regulars at Usk show and must say this is one of the best years yet. Particularly enjoyed the falconry display on horseback, we go to many shows and we've never seen that done before. The new circus tent from Junkfish was also a big hit with the children. A huge thank you and well done to the Usk Show Team xxx
Took my 2 year old and he loved it. So much to do. We put on our waterproofs and had a great time . Very well organised considering the number of visitors . Will definitely be back next year !!
My first visit to Usk Show since moving to Wales this year and enjoyed it greatly. Can't believe all that work goes into one day though! Hoping to show some sheep next year!
My first experience at the Usk Show and I loved it. There is no way anyone could get bored - so many things to watch, see, eat, drink and enjoy. Even the weather couldn't dampen the day as there were so many marquees to go inside of when it rained! Roll on next year.
I hadn't been to the usk show for a very long time, myself and a small
Part of my family came and we had an absolutely brilliant day we will be back next year with the rest of
The family xxxx
Had a wonderful day with my daughter + granddaughter plenty to do + see... We are absolutely exhausted... luved every minute .... Can't wait for next year with my grandson now... Born yesterday on Usk Show day luv xx
First timers yesterday even tho its not far from where we live. Fabulous day ! Not even the rain could spoil it. Loved the food tent, the livestock tents and the main arena. I personally didn't need to use the loos but plenty of them around . Will definitely come again next year
First time at the Usk show and we thoroughly enjoyed. Lots of free entertainment for the kids and a really friendly atmosphere. Will definitely be back next year.
Fab show 2nd time I've been love this show people are friendly and there's so much to see and do about rural farm life
Can't believe I have never been before. Thoroughly good day out despite the weather. Everyone moans about the food prices but food at shows are always expensive bring a packed lunch. The variety of food vans were poor let's have some different types than a burger van. Rest of the show was great fun. Will definitely be back next year.
Shame about the weather but a great day out . As a family we enjoyed the motorbikes in the main arena kept the kids amused. Went to main food court and ordered the fish and chips and must say worth every penny the fish was massive it hung over the sides of the tray and a nice portion of chips . All condiments were branded which was nice to see and even the kids stated how lovely there got dogs were. Also the donuts went down a treat lovely hot and fresh .
Fab Show really enjoyed especially my little girl (6) one question though you have baby changing & normal toilets but if as a mother with a pram & little girl to watch - how are you supposed to use the toilets as they are not pram accessible? Thanks
Not bad. Expensive- ish to get in and the food stalls were ridiculously priced. It was lacking stewards - notably at the car parking and in the tents, which turned into scrums when the rain started. Sadly found while the show was good, a lot of the other visitors were rude and pushy.
It was difficult to decide on the stars as this show was great in some respects and not great in others. For content, variety and good old fashioned country show appeal I would give it 5, however this show was the most dog unfriendly country show that we have been to (and we go to a lot) Most of the tents had big 'No Dogs' signs outside and there was nowhere to have refreshments under cover with your dog. As the rain was at time torrential this was a big problem. While most (though not all) shows have dog bans on some exhibits, usually the rabbits and birds, this one really did feel that the organisers would rather you left your dog at home. So 0-1 stars for dogs and unfortunately that will mean we won't return.
