Congratulations to Rob! Incredible achievement smashing the ultra 100 in under 40 hours ! That’s 100 miles with 29,199 ft of total ascent !
Not bad for a yank 😉 although based now in Cymru 😊

Review of The Vagabond Reviewed yesterday via mobile Our criteria was: 4 lads, near our mountain bike routes, breakfast, showers, secure bike storage, rugged as we would come back covered in mud etc, so no cream carpets posh tea cups any where.
... This place ticked the lot, brilliant. Friendly staff, lots of whiskey at the bar. Lots of information on local bike routes, climbs, walks etc.
We will be back, no doubt about it.

Stayed here this weekend with 26 other people on the Snowdonia Challenge. The ABF Soldiers Charity arranged the stay and I could not fault it. I've met great new friends including Neil and his staff at the Vagabond. Missing it already!

Staff were spot on could not do enough to help. Breakfast was spot on on too.

Neil runs a great bunkhouse. Informal fun and helpful place to stay. Bed was comfy, breakfast was tasty and beer was cold. What's not to like �

Location is fabulous. Highly recommend it. Neil,calley, Kerri are very welcoming and helpful. Service is perfect therefore I am definitely coming back in the future !!!

Had a great time here, we were a party of 27 taking part in the snowdonia challenge for the army benevolent fund.

Neil the host and his staff , could not do enough for us. A genuinely nice guy.

The snowdonia craft lager from Great orme brewery that is served in the bar is excellent �

Great stay, Neil, Cally & Kerry very friendly and helpful. Spacious room, great value and good location. There is the potential for noise from other guests but easily avoided with ear plugs. Ask to try the chilli vodka behind the bar when you're​ there - you won't be disappointed. Looking forward to a return visit on the future. Cheers guys.

Great price , great owner and great food ! Rooms bit small if 8 sharing with all our luggage ! Would Definately stay again !

Great friendly welcome, great room can't fault it. Those that say it's basic haven't been to many bunkhouses. It's the Savoy of bunkhouses in my opinion.

Great friendly staff, fantastic location, clean & cozy dorms!!! We will be back again .

Just what you would expect and a little more from a bunkhouse.

Beds were comfortable and clean.

Showers were clean and perfectly serviceable.

Spacious secure shed with alarm for locking bikes in; maybe could do with something to loop the lock round in the shed, but no complaints.

Lovely little bar with some fantastic local ales.

Plenty of parking. Central(ish) location with an easy 5 minute stroll to the main pubs/eateries.

Friendly, helpful staff and a loyalty scheme to boot.

Was my first visit but definitely will not be my last!

nice owner. Room was decent but needed a good sweep under and behind beds as full of dust, hairs and bits in the beds. Very noisy guests staying (although not the owners fault) appeared at 1am, the banging, running up and down stairs, shouting, screaming, partying, smoking weed right under our window went on until 4.30am we had no sleep whatsoever as we had an early start this was incredibly frustrating and ruined our trip and had to cut it early as we we're exhausted!.
