My partner & I ate her last weekend, would Not go back. I ordered the garlic & cheese bread starter, I expected the usual toasted baguette, sliced with garlic & hot melted cheese - it was two slices of bread with crust cut off with 'melted' cheese that looked like it had been pinged in a microwave. Our mains were chicken in puff pastry, side of chips - veg & new potatoes. The chicken was very dry, veg over roasted & greasy, the chips were cold despite tasting like had been reheated.
So for two basic starters & mains, a bottle of white house wine - £60.00

Having eaten at other Italian & Indian restaurants, we spent less & yet received complimentary alcohol drinks / or coffee & chocolates at the end - felt like this would have been a nice finishing touch, considering we paid so much for a basic meal, that perhaps could have cooked better at home.

Fantastico. The best Italian meal we have had in quite some time. The owner/chef is passionate and talented and the decor homely and reminiscent of an out of the way Venice eatery. Can't wait to go back.

Fantastic place with lovley people and such delicious food and lovely wine. 😁 one chef that takes such care with his dishes. 'Just like mama used to make' 😀 I can't wait to go back 😊

Delicious food, friendly staff and excellent portion sizes!! You won't be disappointed. Plenty on the menu for vegetarians!
