Verileak is a Welsh British cyber security company attempting to use modern technology and collaborative innovation practices for combatting the impact illegal file sharing has on the music industry. In 2023, the project began working toward solving the underpayment issues within the industry, which greatly impacts the ability for not only music creators, but publishing labels, and other creators and professionals to be paid fairly. At Verileak, our mission is to solve the cyber theft problem that is causing the underpayment issues within the music industry, by affording music creators, labels, and retailers, the ability to sell music, and block cyber thieves, without official ownership, from playing the music within streaming services and other music player apps. Our primary company objective is to raise funding for financing the start-up phase before launching the leak verification service. Firstly, we must raise fund investment to locally establish the leak verification service for British music publishers and cover the cost of installing the digital receipt system within our clients' shops and any music retail stores, and indie shops who want to sell their music within their British network. But most importantly, our most important objective for funding is to get market validation for the leak verification service, which is essentially evidence of interest from music creators and labels. And afterward, Verileak's plan is to apply for private funding, and use the investment in addition with revenue made selling company stocks, to repeat the previous investment strategy for building infrastructure, and marketing the service worldwide.
