Vicki'S Puppets

A puppet show that includes magic and audience participation. Children are transported into a fairy land of goblins and witches.

Vicki’s Puppet Palladium appeals to children aged between 3 – 8 years old. Vicki has been in the business for over 30 years. It is an interactive string puppet show that last for approximately 1½ hours. Vicki performs a 45 minute magic puppet show followed by balloon modelling, face painting and party games. Vicki is based in Bridgend but travels extensively. She is well known for her retentive memory and is able to name every individual child at the end of the day. She frequently gets telephone calls asking "Are you the entertainer who remembers everyone's name?"

There are special packages for Weddings, Christenings, School fetes and of course Birthday Parties. Mid-week parties qualify for a discount if on booking this website is mentioned.

The children are thrilled when at the end of the puppet show they are invited to 'have a go at a puppet' and some of them have a real ability and control over the character 'banana the monkey' the puppet usually offered up for them to play with. The puppet show is full of colourful characters and spell binding magic and it takes the form of a little pantomime, encouraging the good old warnings 'he's behind you' and shaking bottles full of rice to the chants.
