Everyone here is so friendly and helpful, from the reception, to the nurses and vets and specialists.
I went with my dog and toddler in tow, the vet went and got a coloring book for my son to keep him occupied while we were talking about treatment options. It was much appreciated!

Fab veterinary service with friendly front staff and vets. Always a delightful welcome for my dog and tortoise as well as myself. Highly recommend their Healthy Pet Plan to make general maintenance of your pet simple and cost effective.

I'm in two minds about this vets - perhaps my story will help you make your own mind up.

I took my cat for his annual check-up and vaccination - with vet 'A' - all seemed fine.

3 weeks later my cat stopped eating, I took him to the vets, this time he saw vet 'B' - who physically checked him - all was OK - and gave two injections - asking me to bring him in the following day - which seemed a bit too soon to me - how long does it take for these injections to take effect?.

My cat was still not eating - so I took him back to the vets - where he saw vet 'C' - who repeated the process undertaken by vet 'B' - gave him a further injection and left me with some pills. The injection hurt my cat - he hissed - and I can see that a scab has developed over the site of the injection. Vet 'C' suggested I leave my cat at the practice and they will put him on a drip and monitor him - I refused. I was then asked to bring him back the next day.

By this time, my cat had regained his appetite and was back to normal - I suspect that the first antibiotic injection sorted him out.

For me, there will be no more annual checks or vaccinations - I'm not at all happy that my cat was hurt during the second visit injection - he's not going back.

Always busy, but staff always find the time to be welcoming. Vets and nurses do a great job.

Took my otherwise very healthy lab here with a cough -already mentioned the cough 8 months previous, were just told he was old, the vet had him down for not having long left to live - Tumour on his lung etc said he needed scans which they were willing to put him to sleep for at 12 years old! It didn't seem right to me so I took him to another vet-turns out he had kennel cough and after a week of antibiotics he's absolutely fine makes you wonder why they'd put a dog through all that and give us all that heartache without going down the simple route first. Will not go back there ever!!

Friendly staff, modern facilities and excellent service. You can pay a monthly membership to which spreads the cost of general animal care which I found very useful. Plus they have a separate waiting area for dogs and cats, good thinking. I'm a fan.

Village Vets Buckley are fantastic. I left my previous vets because of the sales pitch I had to endure every time I visited them with my elderly cat, which they insisted was every month despite the stress it caused him, or else they would not prescribe his pain relief. Village Vets fully understand the position you find yourself in when your pet is on life-long medication, and are always on the other end of the phone if you need them.
