Wow, and wow! Went on the Elf Express today and what an amazing time we had. My seven year old grandson loved it and was entertained from from beginning to end, a whole two hours. The food was amazing with an endless supply of drinks. He had a stocking with various gifts in from Santa and even the adults had a gift. Lots of singing and laughter, truly magical. Thank you soooo much Mr Sparklepants, Candy, Sugarplum and Tinsel, also the main man Santa and Mrs Claus. I believe in the magic of Christmas. X

Wow we had such a magical experience on the elf express train today we absolutely loved it, the food was great plenty to drink and fab entertainment staff were brilliant we loved the hot chocolate song and meeting santa Mrs clause was a lovely touch thankyou and merry Christmas to all xx

What can I say about the Elf Expresss? Amaing! Fantastic! Magical! Fun! Lots of surprises, wonderful food, as many drinks as you want, singing, dancing, gifts for kids and grown ups too. It absolutely exceeded our expectations of what it would be like, as much fun as a Panto thanks to the lovely elves and Mr Sparkle Pants the conductor. The entertainments was constant for the entire 2 hours so our 2, 3, 7 and 8 year old children didn't have a chance to get bored.

I'd do it again tomorrow! Amazing value for money and the most wonderful, fun christmas experiance we've had. Well done to all involved!!

Well what can I say... Took my Daughter on the Elf Express today! WOW...!!! Well done Cafe Vincent’s, amazing morning had by everyone. The effort by all the staff was second to none, nothing was to much effort! The atmosphere was so magical, if it didn’t feel like Christmas before the ‘train ride’ it certainly did coming off! I know a few people have said it was very expensive, but I think it was awesome value for money! Food was delicious & plentiful (literally plate fulls) drinks were flowing, and more importantly the kids absolutely LOVED the experience! Can’t put a price on happy little faces! Thank you once again VD’s for creating more memories for me & my family! See you next year! ���

We have ridden the Elf Express today. Fantastic the girls absolutely loved it x entertained and looked after in the most splendid way. Well done Mr Sparkle pants and all the crew they worked their socks off for the most magical experience. The place was rocking xx fantastic Father Christmas , gifts for children and adults too! Soooo much to eat and drink. Such an amazing Christmas experience so much to do, totally immersive experience. Well done

Lovely store, so nicely set up and each department lovely - and the lovely Christmas stock - bring it on. Lovely furniture department too - have a feeling we will be back there and last but not least - the lush food in the cafe - deco recommend the Welsh Egg Salad! Had fun with the Christmas stock too!!!

Can I just say anyone buying absolutely anything from here will get a level of customer service second to none, and the after care is fantastic. I’ve bought over 3/4 of my home from here lol �

I had a special buffalo burger and my friend had the Hawaiian panini.

Burger and panini both came with chips and coleslaw and i also had onion rings and salsa. We both had vanilla retro milkshakes and i also had a smoothie!!

Staff very friendly and food beautifully presented and delicious.

We will be back!! (If only for the amazing milkshakes hehe)

After looking for 2 yrs for a perfect patio set i found one today the staff were fantastic extremly helpfull and answered any questions i had highly reccomended :-)

Absolutely love the store anyway, but went on the Elf express yesterday and it went to a whole new level, absolutely amazing. Staff always go out of the way to help & make sure your experience is 100% magical. Thank you X

We called to you yesterday, had a lovely look around. Nice lunch in the cafe, food was good. Very good that you have done out the toilets and made them larger. Had a nice afternoon, nice place

The department store is fantastic, got everything you ever wanted and more. But the cafe let's it down, I had creamy garlic mushrooms in a bread bowl and a latte, don't no what happened to the creamy garlic mushrooms but there was no garlic and the sauce was a red/brown mess, I ate about 1/10 of it and felt sick and my latte came out as a cappuccino, used to love the cafe but something has gone drastically wrong.

Absolutely love this store and I'm a strong believer in supporting local business. However, we took our children to see Santa 19.12.16 and whilst there, all the staff were manically rushing around taking down the Xmas decorations and stock! It felt bizarre queuing to see Santa with all of the Xmas settings being taken away and it took the magic away from Xmas a bit as Xmas hadnt even really started! I'd love next year to see all Xmas stock out until at least 23rd Dec. My children were highly disappointed not to be able to look around the lights and decorations and I probably would have spent over £100 like i did last year on little Xmas bits, but instead-we didn't bother going to see Santa as it kind of felt like Xmas was over already..... i also heard other visitors in the store saying exactly the same.Such a shame as this is my favourite shop!

Unfortunately whilst myself and a friend enjoyed a browse around the store yesterday I have to say that the food we had in the cafe was very poor and definitely not worth the money. My friend had a jacket potato with chicken and stuffing. The filling did not resemble this and was very dry. There was no side salad with this and looked totally unappetising. I had a quiche salad and elderflower drink and was not worth the £12.48 I paid. Very disappointed.

The store is lovely, but the experience with the food....ordered a breakfast, it was like cardboard it was like it had been cooked hours ago and reheated...took it back, ordered a cheese and onion sandwich on BROWN, it came on WHITE! Will I return... NO....

I like the store, the items are lovely. But when it come to the cafe it just needs a little more attention. I brought a table of 7 with me, my grandparents were down visiting & I thought it would be the perfect place. I had the spicy bean burger which looked great, but the 3 massive onion rings on the top, even though the looked homemade, the grease was unbearable & I only managed half of one before I started feeling sick. The burger was dry & the chips were cold. The Cawl which 3 of my party had wasn't good. They found themselves taking a mountain of fat off their meat & they commented on the juice which they said was oily. The rest was satisfactory. A disappointment to say the least today.
