Visit Flat Holm Island

We don't just do day trips to Flat Holm. These guys had a fantastic weekend.

The disappointment of cancelled trips due to weather is always diminished when we have a successful trip, especially as we have just missed the Former Hurricane Ophelia.
Slightly different set up for this trip with the island staff visiting the island at the same time as us, this will be the format over the winter trips and we look forward to the wardens full time return in the spring.

Good morning everyone, unfortunately due to the forecast strong winds today we have taken the decision to cancel our scheduled sailing to Flat Holm.
There are still dates available throughout the winter months and into next season and we are always hopeful that better weather will prevail

Great group of visitors to the island today with pretty good weather in the mix as well, thanks Dave for the photos and thanks to Will, the Flat Holm Society and the volunteers for such a great job of hosting our visits this weekend.
We have had a great response to the trips this year booking our short visit to the island well in advance, 12th November 2017 is the next trip with places available. Check out our website (visitflatholm.co.uk) for 2018 dates already approved by the Flat Holm Project
Additionally we have been very busy helping weekend visitors access the island for an overnight stay, more to come with the Sea Scouts camping at the end of the month, let’s hope for good weather

The weather tried to dampen our spirits but the island provided the perfect setting to really enjoy the sun that was available. Thank you to Will and your team for hosting our visit.
