Terrible service, rented one of their vans on the 25/02/2017 to do a house move for an elderly couple in sedbury. Filled the van up with furniture (on the first load) and then the battery cut out. It was completely dead and we were set back by over an hour.

Called Chris Evans ( General Manager of Wye Knot rentals) and asked for assistance or a different van to continue our work. Chris was unwilling to help and said" this is your fault for not leaving the van running when using the tail lift". Even though it would have be breaking the law to leave a vehicle with the engine on , Chris insisted he emphasised this when the van was delivered.

When I asked for a refund , Chris got very angry , I told him this is not a professional way to conduct business and his answer was " I will come down there now and give you a good pasting . I will bring the boys now." His wife was clearly heard in the background frantically trying to calm him down and then he hung up the phone leaving me to find my own assistance.

If you like to pay for a service that provides vans with eratic batteries and a constant beaming lit up engine light on the dashboard ,then give Chris a call.

We will never use his services again.
