Waitrose

My daughter and I had breakfast this morning, the staff were really helpful as I'm in a wheelchair. My experience of doing my shopping was very good. I applied for your store card many weeks ago on line they said it would be five weeks but it's longer than that I would like to shop on line could you check how much longer.

Very long WAITrose. Only visited to collect a messed up online delivery order. Terrible service in store too. Really shocking lack of customer service and understaffed even on a quiet Monday evening. Going through the proper channels to report all this but they seem more intent on blaming their customers/systems/anybody else rather than taking responsibility and apologising properly. I've used all the big supermarkets in-store and online. This was by far my worst ever supermarket experience, online and in-store equally bad. Oh how I wish I had abandoned my online basket to start with. Complete disaster from beginning to end.

Update: I did receive a response from Waitrose customer service (by contacting them online, not this individual store). After speaking to someone, not being taken seriously and then complaining again, I finally got put in touch with someone who did apologise, promised to pass the feedback on to the relevant departments, and send out a small gift voucher to compensate for the inconvenience. Although I still have a negative view of Waitrose, I feel at least made some effort was made to make amends. I still wouldn't visit this store though.

Excellent clean and tidy store with helpful and friendly staff. The produce in this store is more expensive than other supermarkets but you get what you pay for, quality and freshness are better than most others.

Wow! I originally wanted to have a home delivery. This didn't work so we had to collect from store. This is just to set the scene for what could only be described as a complete farce.
The poor girl on the counter had never done a grocery collection before. The paperwork could not be found. In the end we had four people trying to sort it out and none of them wanted to apologise or give eye contact.
We were not angry or rude and I tried to suggest that maybe they hadn't done this before as none of them seemed to know what to do.
Eventually (after over half an hour of waiting) they managed to print out some sort of paperwork which we signed.

This is the first and last time that I will shop at Waitrose. Their customer service, on-line system and general manners are appalling. We have raised this with the head office but are still waiting for a proper explanation.

Always pleased to shop here.
I live in Swansea but when I visit my sister in Cardiff we come together for me to do my shop and have a cup of coffee together. Nice Staff. always ready to help and make suggestions

Good selection of food. But not the cheapest

It's a good size but very pricey.

Good range of products. Adequate parking.

It is a expensive supermarket, but the quality of the products is outstanding. For example they have sushi trays that are amazing and for a good price. They have Estrella Galicia, which is a really good lager beer that I only found here.
