Along your journey, you can expect to see a number of spectacular and fascinating characters in their natural habitats, including kingfishers, herons, cormorants, swans and otters – all from the prime viewpoint of your canoe.

This peaceful and ever-changing setting is the ideal place to wile away a few hours, spend a day or even a week. ● Leave your car in our FREEHay-on-Wye riverside car-park.

● Get canoeing! We’ll then meet you downstream at your chosen spot

We will pick you up, FREE OF CHARGE, from one of the designated access points and return you to your car at the end of your trip. Make a holiday of it. . . If you decide to go for a few days or a even a week we can provide you with details of camp-sites and directions to the nearest pub for an evening meal. Again, we pick you up at the end of your holiday and bring you back to Hay, your car and your onward journey.

For those who prefer some home comforts after a day’s canoeing, there are a few B& B establishments and glamping options along the Wye.
