About Wcada

WCADA is a registered charity and limited company founded in 1979. Our aims are to reduce, treat and prevent the harm caused by dependency and addiction to individuals, their families and the wider community including interventions to reduce harm in the criminal justice system. We have designated services for children and young people, adults and older people. We also support family members and carers. We provide the Minnesota 12-Step Abstinence treatment programme and Harm Reduction services, including needle and syringe programmes and outreach support, diversionary activities and counselling. Additional services include Change Step, a mentoring service for veterans and their families; and a Supporting People housing related support service. Our approach is to inspire change and support people to achieve their potential whichever recovery path they choose.
