The Welsh Communist Party is part of the Communist Party of Britain, which was formed in 1920. We are a bi-lingual Marxist Leninist political party. We have active branches across Wales in Flintshire, North West Wales, Cardiff, Merthyr & Cynon, Pontypridd, Newport & Valleys, Monmouthshire & Borders and Swansea. Our intermediate aims are to campaign and work towards a socialist Britain, fought for through participation in parliamentary (elections) and extra parliamentary mass struggle. We have fraternal links with communist parties across the world including Cuba, India, Greece, South Africa, France, Cyprus and Iran to name but a few.
