West Wales Canine Hydrotherapy opened in June 2016, just outside Peniel, near Carmarthen in West Wales. Owned and run by Katharine and Tim Deane. We have a swimming pool for dogs, which is 8m x 4m, and kept at a constant warm temperature between 28 and 30 degrees C. Dogs recovering from injury or surgery are helped to return to full fitness by exercising in a non weight bearing environment. Dogs with joint problems also benefit from gentle exercise in a warm pool. But we welcome dogs without problems too, who just love water and want to keep fit and a healthy weight.
