Very basic clean with hearty service dining room is very like a canteen as is the food Gregg's type pies small fish and chips.You get waitress service Room clean and comfy. .Reasonable value.
Food was good - breakfast excellent. Avoid rooms on 4th floor. They are pleasant and clean but bathroom is poky and shower struggles. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
Right on the sea front we have had a great time lovely room.
We took our puppy as well. Good bar & restaurant. Friendly staff thanks for a lovely time.
My wife and I had a lovely weekend stay here in rhyl. The hotel was clean and tidy and the room was more than adequate for our needs. We had a drink in the hotels bar, and prices were similar to any pub in the town. Choice of pump beers was good. There is a restaurant in the hotel,but we ate out in the town. There are lots of tourist info leaflets etc in the hotel foyer covering all the places of interest to visit in north Wales. All in all, I would recommend giving this hotel a go if looking for somewhere to stay in north Wales.
The room was adequate but the bed was old and noisy with springs protected by a thin mattress topper. Bedding was clean as were towels. The shower was hot but the tiles had some black mould. The window would not stay open and had to be jammed.
The breakfasts were fine but evening meals a disaster. There was nothing fresh everything was cooked from frozen. Generally food was tasteless. Steak and kidney pudding was just thick gravy with no meat . Fish was thin and not white. Pork was frozen, tough and brown coloured, chewy with a lot of fat. Frozen roast potatoes were very poor. Sweets were poor quality. Overall the standard of food was totally unacceptable although it was served hot.
Staff were reasonably friendly and service was fast.
I would not recommend this hotel at any price.
Room was very small for double booked a bath in room was told first come first served not good customer service i thought .
Stayed with my wife and two friends,Rooms very clean.Breakfast good.Evening meal poor.Staff unfriendly and very rude .Dinner was plonked on the table, i think they thought they where feeding dogs.

As a coach driver visiting with 26 guests I was surprised it was only 2 star.( so I was told)
Rooms are clean well decorated and comfortable. Food was tasty and hot. Staff were brilliant.
Very happy if asked to return here again in the future.
