The staff where so friendly towards me & my family.The food was just fantastic quality with phenomenal flavour.It was really filling for not only myself but my children as well. Very professional staff & a chef that knows food & flavours. Will most definitely be returning for more

Former pub but now an attractively decorated cafe/bistro. Interesting selection of food with good sized portions. Real ales available. Service a little slow.

Just had lunch here with mum. We just found it by accident.....and how glad am I that we did. Gorgeous fluffy omelette for mum and a crab and prawn salad for me. I only ordered a portion of chips to share because of a previous review.........and they were delicious. Fab food - wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Very nice food but lacked meat in the beef and ale with pastry top. Excellent service. Popular. Well laid out restaurant.

What a godsend this place was, upmarket menu prices, but good portions and the chips are to die for, tons but yum yum.
And now a word from my misses, I loved it here. A relaxed friendly atmosphere. Spacious restaurant which was well lit.
I chose the duck with lime and honey and a five spice croquette. Absolutely delicious..!
A good end to our day.

Very friendly staff and excellent home made food. Really can't find any faults. Open fire, historic and child friendly. Well worth a visit!
