I find the staff a little hard to talk to. A small shop but has good range of pets available. The opening times are quite limited. Parking is difficult due to a parking permit areas. Good location in the city centre and 5mins walk from the train station.

There's always reptile food available

No one in the world of reptile, amphibian and invertebrate keeping I trust more.
Always helpful, knowledgeable and willing to discuss whatever queries I might have.

Most importantly of all for me, they run the shop ethically, because they passionate about the animals rather than sales.

The shop is full of really beautiful animals. the staff are always friendly and helpful. I'd been looking for a certain fish to add to my 5ft tank for a long time & got given one by the man that works there. although its usually an expensive fish he had just been given it & don't have a tank big enough so he just gave it away to me. I think this shows he is more concerned about the health and well being of the animals than making a profit which is unfortunately not the case in other pet stores! I always get useful information and tips here and the staff are always happy to help no matter how silly the question you ask may sound :) thank you very much I'll be back!
