Huges pitches. Super helpful and friendly owners. Lovely views and peaceful, quiet surroundings. Great bathrooms with lovely hot showers, very handy. A few minutes ride to the trail centre at Glyncorrwg. Many thanks!

This is our second visit to this beautiful site this Summer and once again we have thoroughly enjoyed ourselves even in the mixed bag of weather we have had! Marc, our host, is wonderful and nothing is too much trouble to help us have a pleasant stay. We will certainly be coming back whenever we can! Thank you

One of my favourite campsite to stay at in Wales. Beautiful area and good location for hiking , biking, and even a bit of bushcraft. Toilets and showers are always clean and tidy not like some campsite I've stayed at. Owners are very friendly and helpful with a good knowledge of the area. The tent Pitches are a little hard so rock pegs or I find plastic pegs work good. High summer, insect repellent is a must but any seasoned camper would know this. Each pitch would benefit a picnic bench, but even without this site is great value for money.

Fantastic campsite and really well located so that you can ride to the mountain bike trails in a couple of minutes. Beautiful scenery to enjoy when you wake up alongside decent size pitches and nice shower rooms makes for great camping. The owners are super friendly & Marc goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need. They seem to have thought of everything- you can freeze ice-packs, charge your phone & buy insect repellent. We'd definitely go back!

Thank you Marc for a lovely weekend at your campsite. The facilities were clean, tidy and well placed. Nice to have hot showers without having to find money to use them. The countryside was beautiful with plenty of walks. The weather could have been better but didn't dampen our stay to much. Nothing was too much trouble, even lending us a hand to start the van. Definitely worth 5 stars.

First time camping and mountain biking in Wales back in August. We had a great time, Willow springs is quite and clean. Mark is great, wealth of local knowledge. Just looking to get a bigger tent for more trips in 2017.

Beautiful retreat, perfectly located to feel like you are in the middle of nowhere but close to everywhere, mountain / road biking and hiking heaven, very friendly site, generous and private pitches, fab bathrooms how camping sites should be 😀

While I didn't stay here, I did spend about half an hour in the Shepherds Hut recently (I was waiting for emergency services just opposite - having come off my mountain bike on some amazing single track).
Mark the owner kindly offered a seat in the hut while I waited - the photos on his website don't do it justice - amazing modern furnished hut that's bigger than the photos imply.
Mark generously went out of his way to make me comfortable, liaised with emergency services. I should mention it's a great location with a view for a campsite right against the forest - and what seems like great hosts to boot! (He even helped out with returning my mountain bike to the hire centre)

We found this little gem while looking for a remote site with plenty of walks. Willow Springs fitted the bill perfectly, it's remote and yet access isn't difficult and it is surrounded by beautiful forests.

As you drive up the track along the valley you soon start to feel you are driving into an exclusive isolated site. Upon arrival we were greeted warmly by the owners and given a tour of the facilities. We didn't need to use them ourselves however they seemed perfectly suited to the size of the site and there were a number of nice touches.

They have a number of additional services such as fire pits and wood, phone charging etc.

The pitches are a great blend of hard standing and grass so you know you can park up and not worry about getting stuck without it feeling like a tarmac car park like some seem to nowadays.

Our pitch was next to the waterfall, with a beautiful view however every pitch seems to enjoy a view of the forests and valley.

There are extensive paths through the forests all of which can be accessed directly from the end of the site. We are walkers rather than cyclists however it's clear there are plenty of routes for both walkers and cyclists.

The owners Marc & Jude are excellent proprietors and the friendly nature of the owners and guests alike really add to the overall experience and set the site apart from many others.

All in all this site is a gem and we will certainly be returning for more visits. Highly recommended.
