WiseWoods was set up by local woodland charity Tir Coed and is supported by Natural Resources Wales, Environment Wales, Ray Ceredigion and The Ceredigion Social Enterprise Growth Fund.

WiseWoods makes very solid outdoor benches, tables and picnic tables. We also make outdoor play equipment, wooden fitness trails, workshop benches, potting tables, shed and firewood shelters.

All products are made from wood that has been felled and milled onsite using sustainable woodland management techniques.

WiseWoods activities directly benefit the woodlands it works in by removing the non-native soft wood species and allowing the native hardwood forest to regenerate, hence increasing bio-diversity.

The work force at WiseWoods comprises professional foresters and craftsmen, apprentices and volunteers.

Wisewoods products are local, durable and affordable, made for the local market, from local materials by local people.
