Withybush General Hospital

Had to write a review about this hospital and Ambulance service to give my thanks for a fantastic service following my Aunt's fall while we were on holiday. All the staff were wonderful with special mention of the two staff from the plaster room who were so gentle and caring with my Aunt whilst fitting a brace to her severely fractured upper arm.

This is a lovely Hospital with marvellous staff. The problem it has is the cuts it has and still is being subjected to. No Children's Dept after 5pm! You have to drive to Carmarthen if you have a sick child. Maternity Services also problematic. A beautiful modern Hospital should be run better by the Welsh NHS!

Dropped in to A&E here after breaking my foot running during a holiday to Bluestone. Reasonably swift to see me, do x-ray and analyse before putting me in cast and giving me paperwork and CD with copy of my x-rays to take to my local hospital when returning home. In and out in just over 3 hours. Staff all friendly. Thanks!

Lovely, for a hospital. Most people would rather be anywhere else but hospital. If hospital is where you need to be, this the nicest I've visited. On the small side, lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and a coffee shop. The car park is too small, which is usual for UK hospitals, which can make parking difficult.

On 30 August I was taken to the A and E department at the hospital, needing 6 stitches to a large gash in my forehead, acquired while out walking - and falling - along the coastal path. The quality of care I received was of the highest order, from the kindest reception by the triage nurse, to, stitching by, surely, the most highly skilled doctor in the land. I will never forget them, and I thank them unreservedly.
