Saturday morning fishing trip out to Puffin Island - sun was shining, sea was calm, we had dolphins swimming under the boat and we got a bucket full of lovely Mackerel - a few too many for us so our happy glampers are having them delivered for their BBQ ūüźü

Starting on the seafront in Beaumaris and finishing in the Castle itself! Taking in our amazing countryside, going right past the gates of Wonderfully Wild, heading down to Penmon point and back to town.
A choice of a 10k route or half Marathon - I'm in for the Half, how about you?

Anglesey is sparkling at the moment and the beaches are just perfect - Started the day on one side of the island for a run and finished the day on the other side of the island with a swim - Llanddona beach then Cable Bay

Yay! The new wood fired hot tub arrived today for Wennol Lodge in the top field, ready for testing by me tomorrow ūüĎô‚ėÄÔłŹūü•ā
Just look at that view, Even when it’s raining! So if you’re booking and wish to add in the hot tub make sure you request Jacmor or Wennol lodge

A grand day out today - First Boat trip of the season for us, so we went to our family favourite Puffin Island, where we saw nesting seabirds galore including Puffins! Lots of friendly seals and even caught a fish or two ūüé£
There are lots of boat trips that we can recommend that run out of Menai Bridge and Beaumaris too and around Puffin Island so be sure to book one when you stay with us ūüõ• #anglesey #wales

Blue skies back again today - Just love May - everything is flowering and growing ūüíö
My lunchtime walk today I found the wild flowering purple orchids ūüíú that just thrive in our hedgerows
And if anyone can tell me what the white flowers are please do - Found in the wild grass fields with long stalks either on their own or in bunches of about five or six?

What a fabulous place!. Thank you Victoria for making our stay here for my nieces hen weekend so perfect!. Look forward to returning and taking over the whole site again!. The hot tub was brill!!!!

We stayed in the Derw lodge. We absolutely loved it, the children loved every minute and didn't want to come home! Unfortunately the weather was grim and we didn't stay our full 4 nights but we will definitely be back again! Such a beautiful place!

We spent an amazing bank holiday weekend here. Victoria and Robin were so welcoming and helpful and the safari tent was fabulous!! It was glamping in the truest sense of the word, gorgeous, comfortable and relaxing. We had an amazing time and definitely plan to return. A special mention has to be made of the 'bed in a cupboard' never has our 5 yr old slept so well, or enjoyed going to bed so much! Amazing!!

We have just returned from a wet and very windy glamping experience! But I have to say it was fantastic!! The tents were well equipped with very comfy beds! Roasting hot log burners to keep us toasty warm! Victoria and Robin regularly delivered bags of logs so we were never without and couldn't be more helpful!! Will definitely be returning in the summer months!! Xx

We had a perfect break here last summer. A really beautiful place and amazing customer service from Victoria. We are booked to go back soon!

We had a great stay in the beautiful surroundings of Wonderfully Wild. Victoria and Robin were very welcoming without being intrusive. The lodges were comfortable and spacious. The children loved the hot tub and the cabin bed(!) and could safely explore the surrounding area. Lots of beach, boats and castles to explore. Would definitely recommend it. Back to basics in a luxurious sort of way!

We decided to book Wonderfully Wild as a soft introduction for our 6 year old and 4 year old to camping but I don't think we'll ever be able to downgrade now! The boys totally loved the lodge with cabin bed and the site with the stream and mud kitchen. We loved the stove, comfy chairs and the deck from which to drink in the stunning view and appreciate the total evening stillness. Can't wait to come back!

This place is amazing.The lodges are 5* the owners are 5* .And the views are to die for.had the most relaxing stress free 4 days ever.

Stunning location - someone had put in the visitor book that this place was good for the soul ! I have to agree. Had a fabulous hen party weekend - 17 hens to accommodate, feed and entertain. Hope to be back with family and doggies next time. Well done guys - we had an amazing time

Robin and Victoria have thought of everthing. The Lodges are Fantastic. The Caban is a great touch and so handy for the extra wood, milk etc you may need. The Weather was certainly a bit wild but that didn't stop us having a wonderful time. The peace, quiet and lovely countryside made for a perfect relaxing break, i even read a book which i've not done in a long time and spending quality family time was great. Brody our Border Terrier loved having the run of the field and was so upset when he came home. So, we will definitely be back! We Have recommended it to my friends and family as it's such a special find! Loved every moment..thank you so much xx

Monday blues are even worse after having a weekend at this glorious place! No detail is overlooked and the service from Victoria and her husband is zero to none. Great escape from the city. For your own little piece of paradise, I cannot recommend it enough!

Just come back from an amazing weekend here with family. Location and facilities are fab! We will be back again! Highly recommend x

It's all of the little touches that make this place so special...the cosy blankets, hot water bottles and wood burners for the cold and rainy days.....the comfy patio chairs to watch the sun go down on the milder evenings.....the fabulous mud kitchen and swing by the stream for the kids. It's our second visit to Wonderfully Wild and it won't be our last. Happy days.

I can't recommend this place highly enough. Stunning location and fantastic glamping tents and facilities. The owners are so lovely and facilitating. They really have thought of everything! Absolutely loved the free games and marshmallows to roast on the fire too, they were a nice touch! Already planning our next visit over the Summer. Thank you so much for a fantastic experience!

Had an amazing short break, the lodges were very well equipped, extremely comfortable and very clean. The children loved the freedom playing in the field and in the stream. Victoria and Robin are extremely attentive and ensured our stay was comfortable. We would highly recommend it and most certainly will be back.

From the minute I saw the "tents" as we approached I knew we were going to love it. Victoria and Robin have done an absolutely amazing job at furnishing and kitting out the tents with everything we needed. The adventure of having no electricity and normal lighting was like being a kid again. The added bonus is there's a hot shower and flushing toilet. (Just my sort of camping ). We will definitely be back and I can't stop telling all my friends about our fantastic stay. Xx
