We have been staying at Woodlands for a couple of years now - at least twice a year. From the moment we walked onto the site we have been met with nothing but friendliness and very helpful staff. I have recently been ill and had to rearrange our next stay - we should have been there this week. However Jaqui and her team could have not been more accommodating. we are now staying again at the end of the month. The accommodation is superb - setting beautiful and lots to do in the area. if only they could fix the weather!!
Since Jaqui has been in charge it has become even better. I do hope the pub can be opened up again. And that the wifi situation improves so we can run Now TV. Essential for my husband's sport!!

We recently stayed in a luxury lodge and it was exceptionally clean on arrival, with crisp white bedding. The grounds are beautifully maintained by the friendly grounds man, and all staff we met were welcoming and accomadating. If you want a quiet, relaxing break, where you switch your phone off and enjoy the scenery, then we would highly recommended a stay at Woodlands. There is also plenty to do locally if you want a trip out. We will definitely be returning!

We spend all of our holidays at Woodlands. A friendly park in beautiful surroundings with Newquay only 5 minutes by car. We have dogs and it is very dog friendly, with a beautiful woodland walk by the chalets and a dog friendly sandy beach with another woodland walk also 5 minutes by car. The chalets have everything we need and are very comfortable. We love sitting outside listening to the birds and the stream. We always come away relaxed and refreshed. Lovely helpful staff in the office too, who are always more than happy to help. We love Woodlands, we call it our holiday home from home 😊

We have just had a fabulous week at Woodlands. The site is clean, comfortable and so quiet and peaceful. The staff go out of their way to help.
We started our week in a chalet as the lodges were fully booked. They are spacious and comfortable with plenty of storage space. We moved to a lodge after three days when it became available. All I can say is that they are the ultimate in luxury.
I cannot praise this site enough. The current staff only took over some 5 weeks ago and are doing an excellent job, very friendly and only too eager to help.Thank you for making our family holiday so very enjoyable.
My advice, give this place a try. Ignore the adverse reviews as they refer to previous management and not the current.

We were staying on another site close by and decided to take a look at woodlands as on line it looked amazing. How disappointing it was mainly old 1960's chalets with several new lodges. Although the grounds looked well maintained and it was a very quiet and looked a nice place to relax. The newer lodges look amazing and I'd certainly stay in one of those. But didn't seem to be much else on site .

We have just come home from a weeks family holiday at the park. We stayed in a privately owned luxury lodge.
The park was well looked after, nicely landscaped and in a lovely wooded location, not far from the sea, an ideal base to explore such a beautiful part of Wales.
We found it lovely and quiet, which is just what you need to unwind whilst on holiday and the children enjoyed the park.
There is a contrast of accommodation, from luxury 5 star lodges to 1960's chalets, which could be very nostalgic if you were of the age, never the less they all looked well maintained and looked after.
The Manageress was very friendly, polite, helpful and approachable. I definitely got the feel she is working very hard to develop and modernise the park.
I do have one recommendation, the staff need to wear a uniform, this would add to a more professional and modern image, which I'm sure the Manageress is trying to promote. When you are visiting for the first time it is difficult to differentiate between staff and guests.
We would stay here again and I would recommend the park to family and friends.

We have just come back from our 3rd time at woodlands and rebooked for the 4th time next year 3 different weeks our granddaughter always comes with us loves the park and makes friends every time she goes and they all play together in the little park she is in contact with one little girl she made friends with 3 years ago plays on her scooter and ball games on the field, kerry the manager is always on hand and friendly always stops for a chat even had time to recommend a chalet for next time because we need to bring our dog so don't take my word go for a visit and don't take any notice of the bad reviews the big park is noisy and overcrowded we have used them prefer woodlands every time its very clean, tidy, save, quiet and friendly its perfect, staff don't need uniforms you get to know them they are always approachable not rude we always tell people try woodlands my family know it's the place to go.

I used to love the woodlands it was always busy and we would love going to the pub for a few and have a chat with other people down there but the lady running it has completely run it down. Making up new rules right left and centre. The staff are as rude as her and they walk around with no uniforms so they could be anyone.
1 member of staff even watched us in 1 of the new lodges while we was in the park with our son which we found creepy then when we walked away from the park and he came out. A few of the people who are still there offered to run the club but the lady running it said no. I last went down there 3 weeks ago and alot of the people i talked to said they are selling up all because of the stupid lady running it.
I heard that they lady don't mind sex offenders and paedophiles living there but to be honest it doesn't surprise me anymore. This used to be such a lovely site you would always see kids out playing on the green or on their scooters but you never see any kids there these days. If you want a quiet place and place to take you dog its ideal but other than that there's no point going. If paul holloway the owner does not get rid of the lady running it soon he will not have a business soon.
Unfortunately I'm done with my time here it's such a shame as we now have to pay more to go into a caravan but at least there are facilities there.
